Could This Be The World Record Catfish ?

In 2007 John Summers caught what many people believe to be the largest blue catfish ever caught on rod and reel. This fish would have been a new world record blue catfish at the time, and would likely still be the world record blue catfish today. World record catfish do not come around often!
The fish was released alive after some picture. The man known as "Radish" was true conservationists and did not want to risk harm to the trophy blue catfish by trying to get it to a certified scale to be weighed.
The Mississippi River is home to monster blue catfish, and this world record blue catfish just might still be swimming somewhere in the river.
