@@TurkeyCreekGal I would like to say, you should never be afraid of failure. Just keep telling yourself, "what's the worst that can happen!" Honestly, so you start a KZbin channel and it doesn't catch on and amass a huge following. So what! You're not hurting anyone or anything by trying. You're not even hurting yourself and guess what? You just might gain a sense of accomplishment by getting it done, whether it's successful or not. One thing though, it can take a long time to amass a large viewership. But if you're willing to go the distance, go for it!

Karen, aren’t antique dealers resellers, too? No one seems to complain about them. E-commerce opened up the viability of reselling to everyone. Resellers are conservators, recyclers, upcyclers and affordable purveyors of niche items. Some people just gotta complain and wanna live in the past. I love what y’all are doing!

That mushroom sweater is EVERYTHING!!! I feel that with vintage clothing, branding tags, as well as size tags, aren't as important as the condition, especially if it has elastic. Most vintage styles were sized so differently than clothing now, that really, the size on a tag is all askew anyway. "In my day" we didn't have size ZERO! What the heck is ZERO anyway??? LOL! Regarding filming, I think they both have their pro's and con's, but you do whatever you're more comfortable with; it is YOUR channel! We're all gonna watch you regardless of what you do.

Sold the exact same Electronic Battleship for $86. Good find! Chest mount videos make me motion sick so definitely handheld is my preference (I'll watch either way). Leaving your cart and going back and forth made think someone was going to help themselves to your items. Plus I think you get more quality film time when you're in the moment and not having to go back and forth. Thank you Karen for all you do!

Karen, I think Grace on that swimsuit IS the brand @ 40:17 I personally like you having the ability to use both hands. Makes it easier to open things, like purses, boxes and look for brands. And I didn’t notice that you were using the chest mount until you said. It will likely get easier the more you use it to get the angles right! But all that said, you should use what’s most comfortable for you!

Welsh love spoons were traditionally carved by young men as tokens of affection for their sweetheart. Each element of the spoon - the locks, the hearts, the knots, etc had a specific meaning. They are carved from a single piece of wood and are each unique and beautiful. I live in England but my mother was from Philly and my dad was from Llanelli in South Wales. (The Montgomeryville store you often visit is less than a mile from where my aunt and uncle used to live off Cowpath Road) I love your videos ❤

Cabbage Patch is only "real" if it's hand-signed on its little bottom. I took my three granddaughters to Cleveland, GA, to the Cabbage Patch Hospital to adopt babies. Lots of Cabbage Patch dolls out there but only the highly collectible are signed. Personally, Karen, I like the hand-held camera. I'll watch either way because I love your videos. The Coles are a family of potters from Seagrove, NC, an area known for the number of renowned potters. I live fairly close to the area, and it is one of my favorite places to go. I have a turtle like the one that was given to you. Sanford, NC is also known for pottery with some of the families from Seagrove having potteries there. I prefer hand-held, but you should do whatever you prefer.

I did notice a few things were blurry but not very often, just some portion of some frames. I was definitely impressed with the part of your recent video when you were filming in your booth, finding locations for your most recent additions. It seemed to me that the chest-mount views provided the ideal vantage point to capture items in the small space. While you are thrifting in a store or at a flea market, I can see advantages with both ways of using the Go Pro, but to me the chest mount excels in the booth setting. Hope this helps.

I think the purple daisy style bowl is made by Blenko Glass Company out of W VA. It looks like one of their designs. Their hand blown glass is very popular and older pieces are very valuable.

I like the go pro. We can see everything you see including your cart. It lets you use both hands. Give it time to get comfortable with it. I know you have tried it before. I do not notice any difference in your voice, you sound great. I can the merch on every shelf. After you try the GoPro for awhile you must choose what makes you feel more comfortable.

Your Wales spoons are hand carved love spoons. Many cultures carve love spoons and have symbolic meanings depending on the design carved as the handle. They are meant to hand in a home.

Sooo glad when you said you had the GoPro on today! It's so much smoother because you don't have to struggle to open things or untangle them. When you switched back to your phone during the swimsuit section and was fighting the hangers grabbing other clothes and trying to find the tags all with one hand, I was a nervous wreck by the time it was over! Hi Karen, there’s a great store with the name treasures in the title in Connellsville, PA, right in the middle of the town. They are people who go out and buy items from families whose loved ones have passed…and so on. They have so much on display and a lot of pottery that is white:grey with the blue painting, which is beautiful. But they also have boxes and boxes, they have never gone through and it’s just piled up along the side of the store and you can see the treasure, sticking out of them. I think you can go through them and just offer the money for stuff. Anything that isn’t priced we just yell how much is this and they throw out a price and I’m sure you could just offer. That’s 3 1/2 hours from Lancaster PA. Just In case you want to road trip.
