Karen, when I was a kid, every Sunday my Mom got her good dishes out, her best silverware, crystal glasses, her little pat of butter plates, her salt dishes, each with a little salt spoon and served in her best dishes, her linen napkin cloths with matching place settings and we kept our church clothes on to eat. Of course this was after my Pawpa passed away and Granny ate with us every Sunday. Before he passed away, our whole family went to Granny and Pawpa's ever Sunday for dinner. My mom is the youngest of 13 kids and I'm the youngest of 36 grandkids. Sunday's at Pawpa and Granny's was the best time ever! We ran wild and free playing in the creek, climbing trees, riding horses, feeding bottle calves and building forts. If only I could go back in time just for one Sunday ❤

Epsom salt is amazing! It helps reduce swelling as well! It is safe in the bath! I like to add some into my heated foot bath/spa while I’m sipping on a mug of hot tea in my massaging recliner at the end of the day!❤

Can you tell your daughter to open up Goodwills in Canada? They are rare here and too far away. We have Vallue Village here and obviously not as good as Goodwills. They have no regular sales like Goodwill and the prices are way up these days. And Goodwill items seems much better in the USA.

Vintage flight attendant here, your right, those Are roller blade wheels. Those are the wheels they put on crew bags back in a day. If you travel a lot ( steal times a week) Or pack a heavy bag Only kind of wheel you should get. High end bags are worth the money. Most bags interworking/moving parts are Plastic, they break in no time. You know old saying You get what you pay for…applies to suitcases. Good eye Karen ❣️

At first I thought it wasn't very helpful to watch because I live in England and our charity shops are much, much smaller than your thrift stores, with not too many special items to find. I, too love the scent of bayberry. Fuller-Brush made an airfreshener. Im not sure if it still exists. I think Stanley Home Products combined w them. The Nike emblem is the Swoosh. There's a nice story behind its origin. 😊.

@ 12:22 , that is a beautiful red somerso vase. I think it could be vintage Orrefors or Murano or Polish glass. They all make a type of sommerso with a clear bottom like that. It would be nice to know. As with everything, China does copy but their version doesn’t have the polished bottom and as you know is lightweight. I think it would deserve a peek under the label! ❤
