What is an impoundment hunt? What is a creek boat ? I feel like I'm missing out hahaha

At least in NC, they are called impoundments. They are special managed areas by the state (NC wildlife) which have food and provide safety for the ducks. For $8, you can apply for a lottery draw and get selected to hunt in one on a certain date. I always think it's worth it. Creek boats are a brand of hunting kayaks and for a lot of impoundments you need a kayak to access them instead of a boat. I have a video on the channel going over a creek boat.

too much deck for a duck boat..... those decks are nice for fishing, they suck for duck hunting....

Yeah that's a fair point. Everything has its pros and cons though.. With the blind we are going to drape the netting and the grass to fill it in some. But it will be very useful to transport the creek boats that we use for our impoundment hunts.
