I have the same boat with a beaver tail blind. Super easy to put on and take off and easy to put up. You can do it in seconds

You still need to come have out with the mud boat crew at Caddo. Glad we could finally get you in a boat. Need to get you a trolling motor with quick detach mounted on it for fishing. I still recommend a jack plate or kick jack for it too.

Bobby you should hit up Aqua Traction of ND to get your boat flooring right. Their product WILL NOT stain. The stuff is unbelievable. A quick spray off and all that carp blood comes right out so you can use your new boat however you want!

My boat is covered in hydro turf and bowfishing is 90% of its use during the summer, and duck hunting all winter. It’s used all year round in Ohio, I’m on the water atleast 1 day every week. The hydro turf isn’t an issue at all with blood, guts, or fish eggs it comes out easy. I use Simple green, and a garage broom and a pressure washer it’ll have it clean under an hour

bobby should have got the mud motor yea you rarely would need a surface drive and i was having the same debate few years ago when i got my GTR and it boiled down to one question can that outboard go anywhere my gtr couldn't? no it cant but my gtr can go where an outboard cant and ive had out boards in the past my gtr handles just like an outboard i take it across big water all the time like an outboard yet when i need to get places others cant i get there. your reason behind it was you wouldn't need the mud motor much but what advantage did you gain with the outboard? its a simple id rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it scenario

I’ve got a 1756 Havoc DBST. It’s very stable. Yeah it’ll roll a little bit but I have no problem standing on top of the gun box or when you use the steps in the rear to get in.

You can bowfish with the hydroturf in the floor. We do it all of the time, all you need to keep the deck clean is some deck cleaner, a scrub brush, and a pressure washer. Comes right out.

Idea so you can actually carp fish: Rig a rubber basket onto the side of the boat, one of those big foldable bags with holes in it that you can run out back with a rope. Blood will absolutely still splatter and it's 5x the effort but it won't be nearly as bad as slamming em in the boat.

Dude, here in central Illinois most of us use outboards unless we draw blinds on mud flats. Alot of times if you need your mud motor it ain’t worth hunting anyway. If it gets the job done who cares right?

I have lived all my 65 yrs. here in Florida as a Hunter, Camper, Fisherman just in general an outdoorsman and where I hunt eighter it get to deep to wade or you have to watch for Cotton mouth Water Moccasin or Alligators so that`s why I Hunt from a Boat Enjoyed it.
