Superfood bacon? 😆 Lower in protein, less nutritious than the real deal? Why? Don't call that "bacon" It's a man-made processed food. Leaving a carbon footprint, and hazardous waste after the processing. It goes through machines that are cleaned with nasty chemicals - it's not bacon. It does not contain the lard that humans need to survive in some climates. Call it something else, yet don't call it "bacon" We absolutely should not rely on one food source or another- diversify all food, fuel, water & shelter sources. One size does not fit all. I don't live in the lower 48, food prices are high where I live yet quality uncured bacon does not cost $15 per pound, especially buying it in bulk? So this woman is full of lard! Add it to our food sources, don't eliminate the others - but don't call this bacon? Not original Not planet friendly

Look at what Beyond Meat has done. They’re at the top of the category and they still are yet to become profitable. Their stock is down 95% from its peak. These companies are sold in IPO’s based on hype, the VC’s cash out and the public is left holding the bag. The idea that food is a category where decades-old incumbents can be beaten by ridiculously high cost “healthy” alternatives is ludicrous. EV and sustainable energy companies capitalize on the same story. And for the most part, they are equal earnings losers. The world needs to move away from large scale meat production and fossil fuels, but it’s going to take decades and these companies will not make it to the end. They’re too early, they’re too expensive, and humans are very stubborn consumers of things we’ve known our entire lives (food, cars, etc). I’d bet the farm that this company won’t make it.
