It's ridiculous how much legacy content isn't on Disney+, especially when it comes to their old cartoon shorts. There's barely 100 shorts on D+ and there's HUNDREDS of classic Mickey, Donald, Goofy, etc that's not there!

I've only watched a little bit of "Ariel" on Disney Junior KZbin videos. However, whenever I saved Full Episode videos to Watch Later, they become unavailable.

Disney must stick to documentaries and journalism type shows. Booktube, cookery, review shows, Finance statistics and technological news as well as education segments are what this type of content deal should involved. Disney must also keep it formatted in a way that is ordered and concerted, ensuring people are keeping the rights to their shows whilst licencing the long term rights to Disney and ensuring payments are expedient.

Hi Roger, if possible could you please explain how free streaming services exist eg Tubi , when they are only generating money through advertising not subscriptions. I know they stream older content, not new movies and shows. However Disney can’t seem to add much if their own legacy content and yet they are generating income from both advertising and subscriptions? I hope this makes sense 😊

I don´t pay for Bogus from others that should never be a thing. More realistic if they work with Disney Content Creator that do it on KZbin supporting doing interesting things showcasing the Parks the Foods or so they would be useful for them but still not want that KZbin would be pretty enough for those Presentation. We paying them for doing stuff for us would be lame if they would get that crazy. Not wanting to invest in creating stuff for the Platform. But they could highlights some great Videos from them like from the nightime Shows some are amazingly presented Parades and such. Disney shouldn´t forgetting they are a Streaming Service highlighting their brands and IP´s not stuff from others. Merchandise Showcases from them would work as well showing what stuff is in the Stores and Parks would help them as marketing as well. Stuff like that easy things yeah but not more. They could do it under the Umbrella of a Special Show that highlights those things.

If they have issues with the cost of legacy content, they could just put it on on rotation. Movie 1 this year, movie 2 next year, movie 3 in the year after that and then start again with movie 1. So they could bring legacy stuff in, but not all the time. And people know they can wait for a movie to come back. They could even make it an event when they change over the movies/shows: "Here's what will go into the vault for the next 2 years - watch it now! Here's what we bring back. Check it out, it will only be available for a limited time..." Maybe have customer interactions and make polls which movie to bring back sooner, or giving a choice of several movies to bring back... There is so much they could do!

The thing with the legacy content is, as you say, they could do it in rotation, but keep on d+ while also licensing out to third parties like Tubi, Netflix for additional revenue

@@WhatsOnDisneyPlus Exactly, it doesn't have to be exclusive. It's enough to make the new hit shows/movies like Marvel, Star Wars, The Bear exclusive.
