As a retired police officer of 28 yrs RUC AND PSNI I have practical experience in security I was on duty at the security cordon at Belfast City Hall awaiting the visit of President W Clinton to address the crowd and switch 😂on the Christmas tree lights and witnessed security the degree of which I never seen before for his visit. Every building and I mean every single building had armed security on the roof involving hundreds of security both secret service and police officers. I on many occasions was involved in security for Royal family visits and although totally secure were nothing in comparison to the security for Clinton. It's odd that the only line of sight position was unchecked and guarded. BUT two snipers were set up to cover it....but saw nothing ? Many civilians pointed him out. A policeman went up to the roof, was threatened with the rifle, and retreated. The snipers weren't given authorisation to take him out until AFTER he'd shot Trump. The security team was made up of temps, only one full time Secret Service agent in charge. The shooter was a "clean skin"....no social media, a phone so well encrypted that FBI can't get into it. The perfect assassin...who died at the scene and can't answer questions. Despite being rejected from his school shooting team he'd gone on to be a frequent visitor to a shooting club. You are correct, even the FBI says on their website it takes 1 to 2 hours for a rapid DNA analysis. This means they had to have the test on site and why was this person even I the FBI DNA database if he was not a person of interest and had no record.
