Thanks for this Video. Is Lithonia a peaceful place to live as far as the crime rate ? My husband and I have been interested in McDonough GA but came across Lithonia and saw it was closer to ATL and the real estate was cheaper. Crime is an important factor for us because one reason we're leaving our current city is because of the violence here , we don't want to move to just to end up in a similar situation

For real I’m so interested in moving to the area but the crime is ridiculous (the type) so I’m trying not to reconsider the move. The price for the homes is so attractive I may just move and stay in the house

There schools suck!! But if you single and don’t have kids it’s pretty chill spot. It was a good time when I lived there for 3 years. Then had to grow up. Started a family then moved to John’s Creek Ga

The population numbers are only for the city of Lithonia which is only 1 mile radius city and is not govern by unincorporated Lithonia.

No such thing as unincorporated Lithonia anymore. Stonecrest now.

@raymondrileyjr stonecrest took a huge chunk of unincorporated lithonia but there is still some left. My comment was more about the city of Lithonia and how the population count was for that. Stonecrest has only been a city since 2017.
