Great commentary! I think a lot of the points were relevant- in all i think its hard to be constructive for most people facing down arctic algae+ kelp farming, a total dream for BBB. Like you said, this game was lots of small edges that lost out a possibly much closer game. Which sounds like a nitpick but i think indicates a larger issue, getting into the frame of mind about what is efficient in TM is a skill in itself, and is hard to improve if you dont focus up on some of the smaller details adding up. Some rapid fire heuristics we saw missed this game: 1)draw cards early for more info 2)dont place oceans early for others' ease of utility 3)play investment loan precisely when you need it [imagine having earth office out!] 4)stack triggers from multi stage cards so your opponents have least advantage. These are (as seen) easier said than done, but its why its fun to play and watch games like this. Again, maybe unwinnable, but believing as much might hinder some improvement :)

Just found your channel. Love your content. As a person who is fairly new to the hobby (but have a long history of competitive gaming as a professional poker player) it would be very interesting to see your top 50-100 games. It has been done a million times before but almost only by reviewers who just rate games after one or two plays and don't play competitively/dive deeper. Would be a lot more helpful and interesting to hear your point of view. I would also love more live playthroughs and post game analysis from your own online games. Good luck at the WSBG 2024, will be rooting for you!

@@v0inier thanks you for all the kind words! I do need to get around to making a top games video, but I think it'd be games that I've learned the most from or something because it's hard to pick favorites sometimes!!

Love the content. I can't remember but i think BGA doesn't allow you to stack triggers in a way to be able to take the plants aquired from artic algae with giant ice asteroid.

@@laneledge huh I'll have to try it out. Thanks to the "whatever" button I may have gotten the false impression on the ordering of triggers
