I was damn near in tears. This is my childhood dream come to life! I'm so damn hyped for this, and for new figures for Beast Wars. Seeing Primal transform and Rhinox, Cheetor and Airazor just dropped my jaw. I highly recommend the Beast Wars graphic novels also! Huge story with so many different characters.

@@kyflysupreme7727 You didn't predict anything. Bayverse was straight up cancelled back in 2018... They rebooted the Series with "Bumblebee" and that's what they are following now. They even already confirmed, that the Next Movie after "Rise of the Beasts" will be centered on Cybertron and will show the War. We only don't know yet, if it will be a Prequel (aka the War before Autobots left) or a Sequel (with Autobots returning to take Cybertron back). Not to mention the bold claim of "predicting" something, when literally nothing confirms your theory... There are even things that basically throw your Theory out the window.

@@3MGLIVE Sick. Because the state of Bumblebee & Rise Of The Beasts are unknown if they're prequels or reboots but Bumblebee should be the main one to rewatch as this is the sequel to that. Last thing, as just a simple fan of everything Transformers, I hope you enjoy them upon rewatch. I rewatched them to make sure it wasn't nostalgia, but nope, still had fun. There was a leak shown on a Russian site or at a Russian retailer a few months ago with a pyramid and hieroglyphics of 10 animals along side. There was a gorilla, cheetah, rhino, hawk, rat, trex, raptor, scorpion, spider, and a pterodactyl. Im pretty sure Dinobot will be in it as a Predacon and maybe we will see him defect at some point. Reek has been confirmed to be in this as a maximal skunk but no confirmation of Rattrap, so it’s hard to tell what is accurate vs inaccurate with the character list. Personally, I NEED Dinobot in this movie

Yeah, I mean they literally confirmed back in 2018, that Bayverse is Cancelled and that "Bumblebee" is a Reboot. "Rise of the Beasts" is a Sequel to "Bumblebee." They also already confirmed that the Next Movie after "Rise of the Beasts" will be focused on Cybertron and will be about the War. It's for now unclear if it will be THE War (aka the Past) or something like "Autobots return to take Cybertron back."

Bumblebee and this film aren't connected to the Shia films. Bumblebee was basically a reboot of Transformers, and this is the sequel to Bumblebee. It wouldn't make sense for film which takes place in the 1990s, to be part of Shia's films since, in that franchise, Transformers didn't arrive on Earth until the 2000s.

I believe (not too sure) that this movie does take place in the 90s, and we might get a cameo of the girl from bumblebee as some fans rumored And in the last knight fan theories say that that involves time travel, me personally, I don't think it's a reboot, only because no one officially has come out with confirmation, and like how you pointed out obvious hints towards a possible bayverse tie-in. Another reason is the bayverse franchise makes them lots of money, and the fanbase is pretty big, I don't think hasbro/Paramount is gonna give that up anytime soon. It's been confirmed the Bumblebee film was a reboot, and this is a sequel to that. As far as some context on the beast wars characters. From a fan of the Transformers as a kid and then with Beast Wars as a young adult. The maximals were a faction from the future descended from the autobots, and predacons descended from the decepticons. They come from about 300 years after the events of Transformers cartoon series timeline, in a battle and do to a transwarp issue both factions crash landed on earth but were sent back in time, to earths prehistoric age, where they eventually discover the crash landed Arc. The vehicle the original Transformers with Optimus Prime and the original Autobots had also crash landed on earth in the prehistoric age, the Maximals mission from then on was to protect the Arc and the autobots inside it, from the predacons who wished to destroy it in hopes it will allow them to win the War in the future. The reason why the Maximals take on the form of animals, is because well no vehicles to emulate in the prehistoric age, and do to the fact at the time earth had been incredibly rich in raw Energon, in such massive amounts that the intensity of it is actually poisonous to both factions' robot forms, forcing them to take on alternate organic forms for protection until their robot forms are needed. Thus the robots take on the beast forms If they stick somewhat to the lore and the Maximals have come through time, it stands to reason why Primal speaks about the battles fought by Optimus prime from the past present and future Primal has seen it all because he would be from the future. Whether they are newly arrived to earth in this movie or have just awoken, there is a ton of potential as far as story line, and it also helps support the soft reboot they confirmed from the Bumblebee movie. I am so with you. I honestly was awestruck by the Avatar way of the water trailers but OMG this, THIS had me in tears because it took me right back to my childhood, seeing the OG Optimus Prime and then Primal OMG I am beyond psyched for this movie!!!

As far as we know, the Bumblebee movie was changed in post-production to be less cannon with the bayverse after The Last Knight bombed in cinemas, (the opening cybertron scene being added was the biggest thing) and was made to be more of a reboot, with the bayverse being effectively cancelled/discontinued. With that in mind, this new movie is most likely just a sequel to Bumblebee, and not a prequel to the bay films. I know a lot of people are hyped for that, and while I will always love the bayverse, (which apparently might have been our only chance to see a live action Unicron) I think the movies need a clean slate, so starting their new universe with Bumblebee I think is a good way to do it, and I'm looking forward to what they do with the franchise.

Because Paramount already stated that it's Mirage. That Porche is how Mirage was originally going to look like. But then Bay was forced to change his design due to some Legal Issues with Porche's Head Company. So he changed it to a Red Ferrari. But then the Ferrari Company forced him to change his name from "Mirage" to "Dino" instead, due to their own Legal Authority - and hence we got the Red Ferrari in TF3. His name was changed due to Ferrari's request, as Mattel (aka Hasbro's Competitor) had an exclusive license for the Ferrari Toy Cars. They didn't want Hasbro to label a product of their Brand, to avoid Trademarking Issues with Mattel. This is both why his name was changed to what Ferrari Company wanted, and why we never got his Toys from the Movie. _And yeah, this entire reason is copied from Google, because this is literally the reason._ Mirage's Concept and Designing Process was a mess...

As far as we know, yes. We still don't have official confirmation if it's a prequel or reboot so if it's a prequel, this new trilogy will probably involve time travel explaining/reestablishing the Movie timeline or if it's a reboot then this new trilogy simply takes place in the 90s & so on

Because people say it's a reboot but there's no source suggesting that other than retconning the timeline from the previous films which each film, mainly TLK, did. @@R.Productions616 Paramount straight up stated in 2018, that due to "Bumblebee" success they labeled it as a Reboot and thus the Movies to come after it, are going to be its Sequels. It was originally labeled as a Prequel, because Hasbro thought that it's gonna flop (and yeah - Hasbro; not Paramount). But then it bombed and became a huge success - Comercialy an even bigger one than "Last Knight" was. So they changed it to be a Reboot instead. Later in 2018, Paramount announced that Bayverse is discontinued, due to its declining state. All of that is hence why the innitial confusion exists on the internet. Because those things weren't stated on Social Media, or on Interviews. They were shared via Articles - and as you probably know, most people on the Internet don't read them. It wae a huge news back in 2018. There are multiple articles bringing up the Interviews and "private" Discussions (aka they weren't held Live, nor recorded - just the News Representarive was invited to talk with the Company's Representative in private). So you can just search for those. Michael Bay is still a Producer, but he's got much less control now - he mostly just takes care of the Effects (like his trademark Explosions, etc). The Main Producer is now the guy that made "Creed 2" - and sorry, but I forgot his name. What people say on the Internet doesn't matter. Most of those statements are based on Leaked FAKE Informations that were circling the Internet for the last 2 years. Okay then, let me just ask younger me who was actively looking for any source coming from Hasbro/Paramount themselves calling it an official reboot but no evidence. You guys keep saying this but yet I'm pretty sure it's either twisting context or hearing but thinking something else. No offense but even I've found multiple people looking for sources yet found nothing that even make me sound sane when clarifying no one has said it's a reboot other than guys like you. Even recently when Steven Caple Jr. said "reboot", they took that as him saying it's an official reboot when the actual quote was "it feels like a reboot" then follows it up by explaining it will be focusing on other factions for the future. So like I said, no offense but until this movie or official higher ups from Paramount/Hasbro say something otherwise, I'm still on the train of classifying this movie as either a prequel or reboot.

They innitially planned to start out with G1 Designs, but Michael Bay decided that he knows better and that Fans of TF definetly would prefer his designs. So since the G1 Design in "Bumblebee" was a decision made by Travis Knight - and it was a success - Paramount decided to kepp it.
