When we lived in the Antelope Valley, North of Los Angeles, we used to hear these flying over all the time. Lots of fires in the surrounding, brushy areas. Thanks again for posting such awesome videos!

Too bad you couldn't show one clip of the drop doing its job on the fire.

From memory they didn't have an actual fire set up. Only a bit of smoke from a quick explosion to "simulate" a fire on one of the 3 days. It would just be water hitting pavement, not as interesting as the historic aircraft itself

Because some people can see past the few seconds of the plane being out of frame and enjoy the rest. I was attempting to manage multiple cameras at once and things got complicated fast.
