The thing I like about consistant playgroups is that playing a silence, and a counter like covert did actually had context behind it in an “inside joke” kind of way! It just shows that this playgroup plays for fun, which is what magic the gathering is all about. Makes me miss my playgroup! Good game :)

10:18 Just for CGB: Comprehensive rules 103.2 After the decks have been shuffled, the players determine which one of them *will choose* who takes the first turn. Although unusual, if you win the dice roll, you can decide the player who goes first; it doesn't have to be you (It could be Shae, for example ;-) )

This is probably not gonna win me comment of the game but I wanna say it anyway: It would be really nice to see a "non-control" round of the Worst Possible Commander Show. While I do enjoy a good control deck, I would also like to see everyone be able to play their deck for once without a thousand counterspells, pact of negations, force of negations and how they're called. I know they're good cards, but often I come to those videos thinking "Oh, I would LOVE to see this deck in action" and then the respective player eats like.. 3 of CGB's and Blake's counterspells and then the deck is basically non-existent for the rest of the game. So, yeah. Maybe something to consider for the Worst Possible Crew. I don't even know if many people think that way or if it's just me, but I wanted to put it out there. :) Anyway - GG CGB, a great game as always.

lol CGB really held a grudge over that Force of Negation. Ben drew half his deck and literally got silenced and shut out of the game and then lost again with everyone else to the Second Sun. It burns!

Best CGB card was: "OK Blake, u don't target my mana things with ur lux cannon". That midnight clock popping won the game. BTW, have a doubt about mystic remora. It says... whenever target player plays blah blah... so don't u have to target a single player?
@danpearman2702 жыл бұрын
The 'oracle' text clarifies that Mystic Remora works 'Whenever an opponent casts a noncreature spell' - one of the many old cards that's been updated to fit modern rules and/or wording. (And one of the pitfalls of commander - lots of cards no longer quite work with 'reading the card explains the card'...)
