Thank you very much! your alternative approach is valuable. It is more suggestive than having the client try to figure out everything on their own. sometimes additional help is needed, not that the counselor is planting ideas, it seems more of guidance to possibilities.

I never felt intimidated by Al. I saw some practioners there and it worked. I never felt so free. I loved Al and he had a great sense of humor. Unfortunately later on in life I had a domestic violence situation. Now I realize I have to relearn this and do it again. It's very hard and work but if I don't do the work. The consequences will be dire. Short term pain. Long term gain. Thank you. So glad I found this.

How much time does it take to complete curing trauma by REBT?

Gosh, that it such an individualized response that I am not really able to answer. It depends on the client, the level of trauma, and the client's level or resiliency. I wish I had the magic answer. But, thank you so much for asking me. I appreciate you trusting me enough to ask.
