Oh how I remember summers back then when Disneyland brought in all the big names in jazz. In high school we'd drive up from San Diego just to see our favorites, such as Maynard Ferguson, Don Ellis, Buddy Rich, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, etc. The whole park was filled with the sound.

big band music is what jack was weaned on: Count Basie thank you kindly Walt Disney. 🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬7 Uncle Harold Duduit, Portsmouth schools superintendent, veterans WWII Lieutenant Commander had us visit one of schools he monitored and brought in big bands for high school students to feed on. wonderful.
