Count Basie - The Heat's On - Drum Cover

Playing with Count Basie's "The Heat's On". Great drumming by the great Butch Miles. This DW black nickel over brass is right up there with any of the great snares I've heard or played. It's not over-priced IMO.

Thanks for uploading this great drum cover Joe. You are sharp as a tack as always. My dad who recently turned 87 is a jazz pianist (started lessons early on as a youth) and is a big Count Basie fan. I will pass this video along to him..................Nick

+readyeddy101 Thanks Ed and thanks for sharing with your dad. You're lucky to still have your dad around. I hope he enjoys it. This is great music. My dad passed away last year. I was able to see Basie in his home town Red Bank, NJ in the Count Basie theater right before he passed away. He was in a wheel chair behind the piano and he and the band were great as always.
