I feel sad for Dooku. Betrayed everything and lost his apprentice who was very close to him but ended up being betrayed by Sidious. I wish Dooku sided with Yaddle or Yoda could have turned up then. Idc about the Empire or plot. The prequels and Republic give more emotions than any other story (apart from Luke, Leia, Han Chewbacca and Vader if you are OT fans). Dooku never deserved this. Didn't get a seat on the council. He is just like Anakin. Got one thing but not the other. The way Palpatine made those two sworn enemies is just sad and clever if you are a Palpatine/Empire/Sith fan.

Yaddle literally could’ve ran off and told everyone about Dooku and the Emperor instead of confronting them. She really thought that she could beat both of them? Lol I know that she wanted to convert Dooku back to the light but c’mon, maybe another time when the Emperor isn’t right behind him. SMH

@@bleyd__ They didn’t even know that she was there until she revealed herself. She should’ve left and told everyone, and she definitely assumed that it was the Emperor/Sith Lord. This was right after Qui-Gon’s death with the Jedi knowing that the Sith have returned. Not to mention their hideout, which is shown 10 years later at the end of AOTC, would’ve been compromised as well. Yaddle screwed up big time.

She didnt leave because of of the dumb plot,she is waisted.Her death in Legends was 100 times more meaningful.The guy that made The original Tales Of The Jedi comic passed away this year and Filoni said absolutly nothing about him.Not even in the end credits

The yoda species is a nightmare to fight in a lightsaber battle. A small opponent jumping around with a short lightsaber, you must be a great fencer to defeat an enemy like this.

Yaddle was using a mixture of ataru and soresu, and Dooku his typical form 2, makashi, and the agressiveness of djem so

Dooku is just Makashi, the reason it looks like Djem So at all is because Djem So was made by combining elements of Makashi and Soresu.

It should of started out as a force powered battle were both were holding back with Dooku winning that would help to explain why Dooku much later would think he could beat Yoda in force combat before lightsaber combat show Dooku using Telekenesis, force shield, force barrier, force, speed, force healing, and tutiminus.

Sidious acts like he doesn't give a shit if Yaddle escapes because she doesn't know who he is and he can always abandon "the works" location since he barely showed any care for the secret location. Also, it should be noted that Palpatine's voice changes whenever he wears his sith hood and doesn't show his occasional decision to turn on and off his dark side voice.

I didn't really get why they wrote it so Yaddle opened the door again just to die moments later. I would have preferred it that she opened the door and Palpatine shocked her to death to finish what Dooku started. Or Yaddle/Dooku could've stalemated and Palpatine throw her under the door because Dooku hesitated

Dooku was never written properly. It was always a little obvious to have him working directly for Sideous behind the scenes. Rather, he should have been exactly what they initially thought he was, a political idealist. In this way, the Separatists wouldn't have had some nefarious origin, instead, they could have been just the expression of political strife brewing beneath the unwieldy and aging Republic, and the Galactic Civil War would simply have been the unfortunate consequence of that - which Sideous manipulated to his own advantage. Had they gone even further, and had some Jedi split off to join the Seperatists out of their pursuit of ethics, it would have made much more sense for the war to have evicerated their ranks. Imagine, light side Jedi fighting each other because they are on opposite sides of an understandable conflict, the wedge beneath however, being Sideous, as he deftly sabotages any hope of compromise. Their own pursuit of ethics at any cost would have done the Sith's work for them, so Sideous and Vader could clean up in the end with ease. Dooku's end should have been been the tragic end of a misguided hero.

And being the same race doesn't mean you're automatically skilled or strong. Yaddle put up a very good fight, this shows dooku's strength, not her weakness.

In Legends, he didn't kill Yaddle though, it was Granta Omega (the son of Qui-Gon's fallen Padawan Xanatos)
