Don looks pretty pissed off that Molly is insinuating that he hasn't experienced what he writes about. His whole demeanor is closed off during the song inspiration discussion, as he puts his fists up in front of his face, and not a shred of a smile crosses his lips during that portion. 5:20 -- And notice how DON is the one to shut down the interview? Ha! It's not the interviewer (Molly) who says, "thanks for your time" etc. - It's one of the SUBJECTS of the interview! Don: "Anyway... it's been great talking to you..." - Ha! - telling Molly to PISS OFF with those dumb questions about how he writes his songs!...

Completely disagree. Excellent interviewer with a strong intellect. Not always on his game but the questioning here is fine.

Molly SEEMS like a terrible interviewer, and I think it's to do with his actual phrasing of questions, but his musical intellect was very high, just because he immersed himself in the music scene for so long, and with a genuine love of the music scene - not "music" per se, mind you, the music SCENE. So from doing it for so long, he actually became a pretty good interviewer in that he knew how to coax anecdotes and information from artists, but his interview "style" was atrocious.
