The prayer at the end almost had me teary, and I am not religious at all! Also MGK's words were so beautiful and showes such a raw genuine emotion, also emotion that matches Jellys, I love how Jelly says to Kells "God knew I needed a fashionable friend, so he bought me you!". These two mesh so well even knowing alot of people would judge them immediately for associating, simply based on Fashion/Genre/Hometown etc.

When I heard "I am not okaY" I literally broke down in tears. I went from happy family, healthy with plans for the future to dysfunctional family, suicidal, unhealthy and wondering if I could live with the things that can't be cured. I was at a loss everytime someone asked "how are you doing" because it isn't as if people really want to hear your sob story nor is it good for you to focus on as sympathy can make you feel even worse. (When my Mom would say "oh honey I am so sorry for what you are going through" it just made the pity party last longer and wasn't good for my mental health.) I really struggled with an answer but ended up with "hanging in there" as the best response. This man is such a wonderful lyricist and his words touch so many people. If he has any doubt about whether he is making a difference he can be sure that more than any artist in the last 20 years, his words translate to millions of people's feelings and truly helped the healing.

I don't know what demons you battling, but know that you're not alone. I'm a struggling drug addict who has had my share of dark days that turned into nights. But no matter what you believe, as far as faith. . . I hope you feel on some spiritual level that you are so completely loved and your life has purpose and meaning. Even if you struggle to see it through the dark, there will be light again. I believe that for not only myself but for you as well. We are NOT the circumstances that make up our life. We are not our pain; we are not our hurt. We are beauty; we are change. We are LIGHT. I pray that you feel relief knowing you don't struggle in silence. And your ability to speak your pain allows others to share theirs as well. This is a release and possibly allows someone who may see this to find the courage to go one more day to fight for their light to shine. You are beautiful. Have an amazing day!!

I'm almost 34 and growing up in Ohio I've been to so many concerts, the old school warped tours and all over from Cincinnati to Columbus to Pittsburgh and in between. I got the chance to go see Jelly last summer and it was hands down the best show I've ever been to. The only way I could describe it afterwards was Jelly took 23k of us to church that night. I can't wait to hear this new album! I also can't wait to get the chance to go to a mgk show. These two are so good together they definitely bring out the best in each other.
