Bazett has got to be one of the most fun to units to use in the game. They really nailed her style and even bent the game rules to make it work. The result is amazing when it works right. Hey Khad! A question about the break bar limitation on the Counter. If the enemy is affected by a damage-over-time efect, like curse or burn, it triggers AFTER the enemy's turn. So, if Bazett counters untill the 1HP point, then the effects damage hits, a second gauge should break, right?

She is really fun and shockingly effective, even at NP 1. That inability to hit a break bar has some big advantages.

Taigong Wang is one of the best Bazett supports because he gives quick up, np damage and attack up and he can skill seal enemies so they will be forced to attack Bazett when she is with her NP up

@@amai2307 I dunno the actual numbers, but he gives three buffs at 15% each that all stack multiplicatively with each other, as well as 20% charge for party and skill seal forcing enemies to attack. Is that better than one buff for 50%? I’m not familiar enough with FGO damage calculations to say.

@@KRP71390 why one tho? Castoria has 3 buffs for 50% blue and upto 70% atk and 50% good niche buff on top of that? Skadi has 50% green 100% green crit 30% def debuff upto 100% crit damage and upto 30% atk. Even Morgan who is not even close to being a support gives 50% charisma + 20% np gain + 1lvl overcharge + star bomb. Tangong's buffs are 2-3 times weaker than regular support buffs.

@@amai2307 It depends on what you need, but keep in mind that buffs of the same type stack in an additive fashion (you add the numbers together), while buffs of different types (attack, color, np damage, special damage) stack multiplicatively (you multiply the numbers together). So, taken in a vacuum, on a single attack like an NP, having a wider variety of buffs can give a greater increase in overall damage. Yeah, 50% is the better number, but it generally only applies to a single category. Sometimes, you want that variety to give an attack, especially an NP, that extra damage. It really does depend on the situation at hand, though

Quick note, although Berserkers are counted in the Cavalry classes, they follow different rules when being attacked by Alter Egos. They take 2x dmg from Alter Egos, while all other Cavalry classes only take 1.5x dmg.

I have been using Bazett extensively for CQ and one of the best support for her aside from S.Skadi is Habenyan. She's great for protecting her and while also helping the party rotate to via yeeting herself for other charge support.

I feel like a really underrated part of her kit is once she uses her NP she can generate her NP back if she has her cards and like you mentioned she also has that overcharging when the foe is 1 hp after her np brings them down to that.

Its not that big an issue in practice. Once you use her, you realize that she is the queen of min turns. None can break as many break bars as her in a turn.

Allocated 90 rolls (60sq + 10 tickets) for her, got her in 10 tickets and 30sq! Now I can save for Arcueid and Skadi without regrets!!

i got her to np2 in 90sq! she’s a very fun unit and gives me a break from using buster and arts meta. nothing is better than green card dopamine crit stars crit dmg np gain

Since we already run at least double Skadi for Bazett, her quick cards will already hit like a truck so enemies health bar will get delete so fast anyway. This might open up the idea of infuse her command cards with status alignemnt lethal like posion, curses or burn to help burn down enemies 1 HP break bar and break their bar after their turns.

I don’t think those ailments can break bars. It would be great if it did, but I’m pretty sure those can only trigger guts, not breaks.

Outside of the rediculise gauntlet of Summer Servants, Bazett is my most wanted Servant for the year! Really hoping I can at least NP2 her, but cash is a little on the tight side right now, so we'll see. Office lady hype!!!!

Bazett is amazing, but requires some truly ludicrous set-ups to guarantee consistency. My most reliable comp is Bazett (K-scope), Edison (K-scope), Miss Crane (K-scope), Taigong Wang, Waver - as it balances enemy skill seal with the necessary Bazett NP charge. Even then, round three is risky because Edison cannot guarantee his own charge.

Wait a minute that’s a good question. If you put burn or poison on her cards to put the stacks on then get the enemy to 1hp will the tick break the bar?

This was my first thought for CCs, but unfortunately poison, burn, and curse can't eat through a break-bar stack, only a guts stack. xNaya has a cool video of her + Doumon basically 2-turning CCC's Nero Bride quest using her counters + curse to chew through 3 stacks of guts

What command codes would you most recommend for her? From what i can tell, Royal Bunny & the Da Vinci NP up CCs are the only ones that give 1 *turn* of attack buffs to mesh with her passive; everything else seems to just be fir that card.

I didn't know her counter wasn't allowed to break breakbars but I don't think that's really a problem. My concern is her crit star generation since that's what I look for in Quick servants. I'm likely not pulling for her since I'm also saving quartz for summer'24 pity.

@@KRP71390 Yeah... Wasn't sure... haven't really used a unit, that had curse/burn/poison cc, to fight a boss with multi bars... the only ones I use are Robin Hood for poison, Yang Guifei for burn and Jacques de Molay for curse

I like fun and gimmicky units so you pretty much sold me on rolling her. I've been curious on her since a while, but I was always kinda discouraged by this year is pretty stacked for me, and I already got a solid lv120 Van Gogh for all my CQ needs... I've been wondering, do they pair well? Maybe Goghie's stuns aren't helpful if Bazett wants to trigger Fragarach tho...

I just rolled her and was testing her out. So far the stun seems a bit counterintuitive, but it can be played around and allow her to help build up some NP or wait for cooldowns during downtime. The single turn of evade is great on her tho during np turns. And Van Gogh helps her to keep consistent damage and stars when her buffs are refreshing. Tho I don’t think double Van Gogh would be that good tho (haven’t rested it out, tho). Maybe a character with either defense up or healing would be better as the last party member (habbycat I have found to be pretty good, but I imagine mash or tamamo would also work depending on the length of the fight and how hard they hit

Bazett has three problems: 1) the "counter attack" system works exclusively for challenge quests and then if she is not "targeted" by enemies her NP risks being wasted 2) It is not suitable for "farming" and we all know that 99% FGO is that;3)By virtue of its servant nature of "Alter Ego" it will see little application in most combats (with the exception of events or Lostbelt or singularity,particular boss battles)
