How to Play King of the Hill:
King of the Hill does not require any mods to play (unless you want to play a modded map or RHS koth). Just type 'King of the Hill' in the mission section of the search filter. Infantry only servers will have "INFANTRY ONLY" or possibly "INF" in the server name. Look for servers running the v12 version of King of the Hill but, everyone's stats were reset for the update to v10. Some servers such as Hostile Takeover are still running the older v9.6 King of The Hill if you can't deal with the stat wipe. Just watch out for those servers running xp and money multipliers, you could loose your stats from playing on these servers.

The heli's hovering or appearing to lag could also be heli snipers. They just sit on the side and auto hover the heli and snipe from there.

Yeah, I've sen it done a few times, usually from much higher than heli in this video though.

Hey dude, thx. I have a i7 4770k, I've not overclocked yet. The fps is mostly down to the graphics settings and my CPU and SSD drive. I do try to keep Windows as well optimised as possible too.

hey, i’m fairly new to arma 3 koth. what scope is this? and how did you get the thermal vision? would long range snipes work on the .408?

Hey dude. It may take me a few days to reply to some comments sometimes, sry bud. I'm using the LRPS scope in this video, it's the best scope for long range sniping for sure. I got the thermal vision by using the 'DSNR' perk, I believe you have to be a certain level to access it. .408 is the M320 right? The M320 is actually more accurate than the Lynx and thus probably better for long range, I just prefer the Lynx because it can use the APDS rounds that will go through most walls (including towers) if shooting closer 1.5K. The M320 only shoots through towers if you're closer than 300 meters (I think, could be 200 meters). I hope this helps.

@@Luke9K alright man, thank you. I actually unlocked the LRPS, and i hit a 1920 meter headshot and a 2140 meter kill! although, the drop is kind of odd past about 1.5k meters-ish. at 50 meters i would aim below 1.5 mil dots on the LRPS.

Hey dude. I get like 45 - 75fps when in the AO and it's all kicking off, on a max 100 player server. I would get lower on a server with more than 100 or if the AO is Kavala. My PC Spec: CPU = i7 4790k 4GHz, 16GB RAM, GPU = Nvidia 980 Ti, Creative sound blaster Z, SSD drive for games and windows and 2 HDDs in RAID for recording. I also have 144Hz monitor, which is 24" with 1920x1080 resolution, Corsair K95 RGB keyboard, Logitech G502 RGB mouse and a steelseries QCK mouse mat. The PC is powered by a Corsair 850w power supply and the CPU is cooled by a Corsair H80i. Operating system is Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit. I have a video that shows my settings and I talk about how each settings affects frame rate: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqKyZXVsi9GlgJI&t You may find some of the settings affects the frame rate in different ways than it does for me. Hey dude. If you go to in game options, under controls there is a weapons drop down menu. Look for 'Lase Range' in the list and check what key it says. Assign one if nothing is set. I changed mine from the default, can't remember why now. I hope this helps. :)

Haha. Yeah, that was a good one. :) I did use the designator to check out the tower that you were near if I remember correctly. I just did it for a few too many seconds before the shot to keep it in the video. I decided to cut the clip down to make it fit the video better.

How do you get so high fps? im have like 30fps in city and drops down to 15 if i try to shoot. Gtx 1060 i5 6500 and 8gb of ram.

Hey dude. I have i7 4770k and 980ti, but I turn some settings down to make sure the fps is still high enough for me. I have a video that shows my settings: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqKyZXVsi9GlgJI&t Some settings may affect your fps in a different way to mine so you will need to experiment and turn things down a bit more than I do to get a good fps. I don't use start up parameters and I don't mess with the Nvidia control panel, but I know some people benefit from messing with that, but also some don't.

how does your bullet goes so staight? i mean.. if u shoot wheres your red dot is you hit that place even over 2km. but i have to aim wayyyy higher using same loadout as you have.

Hey dude. Are you using the LRPS scope? It can be zeroed to upto 2.4K (use page up and page down keys to zero). Only hitting targets further than 2.4 requires you to be pointing up in the air. You can also zoom in and out with the scope (+ and - on the numpad) so make sure you're zooming in. I hope this helps.
