Is that really CS 1.0? Because I remember seeing de_dust2 for the first time on version 1.5 or 1.6. Before then there was only the original de_dust.

This isn't 1.0 , but Dust2 came in 1.1c (2001) , not 1.5 Official CPL Winter matches were played in dust2 for 1.3 when Potti was the best player in the world.

Basically de_dust and de_aztec were the 2 most common maps I remember. de_train and cs_cbble were around. So was cs_italy, de_chateau, de_militia, cs_assault. I loved cs_bloodstrike -- that was around pretty early I remember, I must've been 8 or so. Even de_inferno wasn't around for a while...I remember that getting released and thinking "oh cool another new map"

Dont forget about prodigy and nuke! I remember strafe jumping around maps like maniac and geting banned a lot for it lol... A lot of the guns had little to no bullet deviation too. Game was waaaaay better back then, so pure.

this is like a mix of 1.0, 1.3, 1.5 and the overall font (text, kill indicator in the right corner) is from 1.6, except it's just the headshot logo and not what type of weapon u were using. an addition that came in 1.6 this is uploaded in 2006 when ppl were playing 1.6 on steam

Ah this brings back old memories :D. It's funny how this game is still popular, It hasn't changed that much in the looks. Just the player models. But the game play changed a bit. @Opiate51 M4 scope was in the betas. cs 1.0 m4 is the same as it is today. I'm also pretty sure the pistol accuracy bonus while jumping (accuracy while jumping was the same as standing still) was also only in 1.0 and early versions and I believe that was taken out in 1.1. And further proof this is 1.0, the awp has a crosshair. The crosshairs were removed from the sniper rifles in 1.1.

aww i miss the days of jumping headshots with ease. back then the competition was easier too, seeing as nobody had the years of experience built up at the time. plus cheating wasn't all over the place like it is now days. even the leagues like esea, cevo, cal, ect can't keep cheaters out with their own clients.

im pretty sure this is 1.6 with some 1.5 skins. Sounds, bottom money, health, time indicators and graphics are original 1.6. they must have been used knife skin and kill indicator on the top right from 1.5. At that time these alterations were common on 1.6 private servers.

it's definitely not 1.5. awp has a crosshair here. i dont remember when it was removed, but it was way before 1.5. way way way before :> also, i cant remember M4 having a scope ever. i know it had one in beta5.2, but after the M4 zoom was removed, the model was changed to, imho. i play since beta7 btw.

yes it is lol its exactly what the name portrays its something related to aiming. This applies only to FPS (first person shooters). An aimbot auto aims to the enemy and fires a round much faster than a human without human skill.
