At 49:30 the rook should have went to d5 forcing the king to move because of the discovered check, then capturing the black queen with the rook. Their only other option would be to block the discovered check with the queen, then white takes black queen with her queen for checkmate.

Opening is just first few moves of the game. Fundamentals can apply in opening/middlegame/endgame. @superpro_gamezyt7104 ай бұрын
@@sadisticTushi the ICBM gambit, or tennison gambit, is a gambit where white sacrifices the bishop and knight, to get a queen and a really good position, while also making blacks position really bad, it has a high winrate if you can execute it properly.
@superpro_gamezyt7104 ай бұрын
only issue is black has to play d4, and play the exact moves in order for the gambit to be accepted

At 55:45 you could’ve had one of the best mates in the game, which is called smothered mate… you just needed to sacrifice bishop to g1, he takes with the rook because he couldn’t take it with the king, then his king is trapped there and you move your knight to f2 and gg… the only problem is that he attacks your knight and maybe he would’ve taken the knight first and not the bishop…. But would’ve been so nice to see that mate🥲
