Countering Lt. Childsen as Aggro in Star Wars Unlimited!

Lieutenant Childsen is a new and scary card for some people to deal with, making a big splash in the recent Vigilance Vader deck that Gui Cohen piloted to victory at a recent 5k tournament! In this video I discuss some counters that aggro decks have available to help deal with the threat of Childsen!

“Going space” isn’t an answer to Childsen. A deck running 3 PotDS, 3 Open Fire and 3 Entrenched has a greater than 80% chance of having an answer to your space unit on turn 2. Playing space units isn’t exactly a revelation, it’s what the deck does anyway. It’s about as insightful as saying “play a resource”.

If you went ground they would have those removal options anyway, plus they would have Childsen. Going space isn’t a complete solution but it helps. Further, while the deck has space units “anyway”, the player chooses what to resource and what to keep - and keeping space over ground can be a good idea in some cases!
