Dude, he carried a lot of the songs in YNYA, tbh I'm hoping the riffs are a little more like Tragedy mixed with DBHAH (Prophets too, but they haven't really written like this in years). Don't get me wrong, I like some of the last album but it wasn't as good as prior releases. This song has some awesome sounding riffs, already, though. :)

I feel like this Album will have a perfectly balanced sound between good Oldschool early 00s Metalcore / Post HC and new age djenty, Mathrock influenced stuff. This literally reminds me of early Remembering Never and Life in your Way Albums but is still refreshing and new in its sound. Gotta love this Album, can't wait!

Def some Life In Your Way influence. I can definitely hear some Misery Signals influence in this song as well. I’ve also always thought they reminded me of a heavier, more emotionally charged version of Comeback Kid too. I just can’t get enough of it bruh.

Don't get me wrong, I love KL but they're not really that innovative as far as technicality goes. Just seems like they're a one trick pony with their constant breakdown formula.

Their new songs are a snooze fest (my own wack opinion, sorry) and bands like KL are changing their sound for the better with each new release.

I think it's mostly thanks to the guitarists. They switch from melodic to heavy incredibly fluidly. Brandon's writing has always been solid and got better with time, full of raw emotion, and his vocals have echoed that as well. I've never been disappointed by any of their releases.

My boyfriend showed this to me a year ago in July. I used to listen to metal with him, even though most of it was just noise to me. There were some I liked, though. Korn - Idiosyncracy was one of them. Now, I got into metal, and I searched for this song, just so I can see if I like it now or not. Yeah. It's a nice song, I might listen to the whole album. @@tyroneTy2024 If you're talkin Adrian than yeah I assumed he contributed some to Tragedy even tho that was mostly written by Jesse, and YNYA with Blake writing a good chunk of it. def could be wrong, but if you're talkin Alex than for sure yes he was the other guitarist during Currents and DBH@H, he also did backing vocals. He helped write stuff on YNYA too but I'm surprised that he's seemingly back in the band with Adrian out.
