They are their own genre at this point, idk no one sounds like em, and they dont "sound just like (insert band of your choice)". Def some other good albums out this year though. Rolo Tomassi is also in their own dimension, Totally Unicorn's new album rips, and the new single from Birds in Row sounds tre magnifique!

WHEN THE HELL DID JESSE COME BACK?! Great to see Alex Re and Jesse Doreen reunited on guitars. Kyle's drums are perfectly executed and holy shit do they sound amazing! That snare is tight and crisp! The "post-chorus-breakdown" (I don't know what to call it) is totally new for Counterparts and it is heavy and fresh. Well done, gents. Another 5/5 song from the melodic jardcore kings!
