Yeah link's nair hitbox is broken asf. It doesn't go away until the animation has completely ended. It's still active for a few more frames I think.

I hope tournaments bring up a banning system, this will force players to learn 3 characters, instead of always playing 1. Link's nair in melee has a weird property where they forgot to program an ending frame for the hitbox, so the hitbox lasts the entire animation

@@TheGlitchedUpGlitch not really, the hitboxes are controlled by two flags, one to make them appear and another to make them dissapear. The flag to remove the hitboxes was mistakenly swapped with a timer ( used to change hitboxes during a move, I believe)

You've got to consider matchup knowledge too, or more accurately, _lack_ of matchup knowledge. When an overwhelming majority of the competitive scene plays the same 5-6 characters and an overwhelming majority of _those_ players play space animals, it's very difficult to maintain any matchup knowledge about the rest of the cast. If anything it's testament to the meta being so stale that anything outside of it quickly throws a spanner in the works.
