You not only bring us a wealth of information about the knitting world but you have introduced us to so many beautiful people who make this knitting community so special. Your interview with Lindsay was wonderful. I found her story inspiring, and after you hugged her I was wishing I could do the same. What a kind, giving and loving person she is and so talented!

I'm sitting here feeling completely blown away. Aside from the autism, Lyndsey's story could have been my own. I don't know if you're reading these comments, Lyndsey, but your honestly, strength, and resilience completely blew me away. I've allowed my past to become a stumbling block, a barrier to stepping forward and accomplishing. I don't have the chaos, anymore, but I do have this.. block, and it's keeping me stuck. Thank you so much for sharing your story. You've been able to find your path forward, and I'm so incredibly happy for you. I hope someday soon I can find mine. Thank you for the interview, Andrea, and asking the right questions.

Andrea you have done such an impressive job in that interview with Lyndsey. You handled the delicate questions with such empathy, openness and, while it sounds strange, normality. You asking her what benefits Autism brings her is just such a refreshing way for an interviewer to approach someone and stupidly rare. Knitting and all fibre work is such a human and personal activity for whoever is doing it and you really highlight that. I enjoy all the podcasts, but this one made me cry.

Love, love, love the Van Gogh segment. It is amazing the detail you get with a modern camera. I could see the depth and texture of the paint, not just the brushstrokes. It was like being there. Much more detail showed up than in any photographs in the art books I've seen. Thanks for doing that.

A very big Well Done for this episode. Thank you for taking us beyond the public persona of the Countess Ablaze and introducing us to the kind, courageous, creative, generous, hard working, force of nature that she really is. Andrea, your kind and sensitive approach really seemed to help her to open up and share some of the more difficult parts of her current challenges and her difficult past. And Andrew, just saying, I too find the hat beautiful. But a great deal of the joy of knitting is the way it allows us to express ourselves. I can hardly wait to see what Andrea's colorful nature does with it. The adventurous Sosu has some very fun designs that i will have to explore further. Lastly, thank you for sharing the Van Gogh exhibit, both his works and the museum itself- a rare treat.

This is a new favorite episode for me. The line, color, and use of shape from the Van Gogh exhibit, the delightful and playful designs from knitters of the world, and the astounding interview with the Countess left me deeply grateful for all of the color in our environment and in our fellow humans. The interview with the Countess deeply touched me in her honesty, vulnerability, and strength. I have some of her yarn in my stash and I am even more impressed with the yarn and its maker after being granted this very intimate window into her life. Thank you Andrea and Andrew for this episode, and thanks to the Countess for her forthright sharing.

I too get the itchy forehead and love colour, especially jewel tones. Good luck with your dyeing experiment. Not on my agenda! My head hurts from the technical explanation of the sleeve shaping but I am really grateful for it. Understanding how things like this work is very satisfying. What a feast for the eyes at the Van Gogh exhibit. Thank you! It's never too late to bail on a knitting project especially if it's going to take until 2021!! Countess Ablaze...Wow, proof positive how someone coping with a difficult personal issue can be so successful and such a gift to society. I'm grateful for her honesty and brilliant description of coping with Asperger's and all else in her life. Bravo Lyndsey, you are a wonderful inspiration and role model. I always love the show but this one has by far been my favorite. The knitting designs were incredible and Lyndsey's story touched my heart. My son was diagnosed with Asperger's in fourth grade. Prior to that it was a huge struggle to understand what was going on in his mind.
