just started watching clips of this came over from pawn stars videos. its hard to get into all the fading on the paint jobs but i know its part of the art and adding something unique. ive worked in a spray room at a cabinet shop so i have some vague concept of how hard it must be to put fades that actually look right from every angle all over a huge sort of continuous contoured surface like a car body. i know from getting into watches that stuff can seem like too much at first but then you learn to appreciate the art of just doing more with it as a goal and a display of craftsmanship

I use to help my brother do paint and body when I was in high school. We would sand and mask around 15 cars daily. My brother would come back at night and spray as many as he could. Come in the morning and unmask. If people knew how much work went in to just taping all the designs. They would flip.

This car is a classic with classic lines, by itself it screams cool. Just the light blue would have put it over the top. All that junk on there goobered it up. Simplicity is the best! The car is iconic and doesn't need tattoo garbage on it.
