I was us park service on alcatraz island, 1995-2018, we had our 1934 diemond-T restoration done by inmates at a los vegas nevada prison in 2005, one inmate did the gold leaf and pin strips, man he was good! They rebuild everything, this is alcatraz fire truck since 1934! Thanks

This reminds me. Of the Emergency episode. Of when Roy and John found that 35 Mack. And they saved her from the scrap yard. And how she served in the 1937 earthquake. Of Los Angeles. And how they showed the new fire engine. And it showed how much time has gone by. And in 2014 I had something explode inside of me. And my wife at the time. Called for a ambulance and they took me to the hospital. And one of my sons is a firefighter for the city of Springfield Mass. And I am very proud of him. And i want to say a big thank you for all the first respondents. For keeping us safe. And a big shout out to the guys who are first responders who are serving our miltary.

As a youngster back in the 60s and 70s, my dad was the firechief of our small town in ga! They had an opencab chevrolet/ americn LaFrance fire truck from 1941! She looked very much like the one here, just a little later shape and styling! I loved that old truck, it was kept til about 5 years ago when a individual bought it for $1500! Understand he was gonna restore it, sure hope so, never seen another like it! Dad had some great stories in that old truck! They called her MAGGIE! At one time she was the only firetruck for the whole county! Imagine going out on a call on a cold night in the rain or snow!!!
