Ben almost calling it off and running out of the room! You would honestly think he was about to have open heart surgery. Ben and Jessa are about as exciting as watching paint dry.

My sister had that surgery by a top eye consultant and she was unfortunately one in thousands who had an allergic reaction to it. She had a terrible two months where another top Doctor flew in from Italy to attend to her. It took a lot of pain and two months before she got her 20/20 vision. Put me off big time.

Yes, this was actually suppose to be more focused on the older girls at the time: Jill, Jinger, Jenna and, Jessa because, it was suppose to be, I thought it was to be about them going through the mid-wife training and there families. I didn't think the show was to be like before where the whole family was to be on this show and well, they turned it into that. And, Jill was the biggest one in getting this show put together with TLC and sadly, we don't get to see Jill on there, cause her you know what dad. Jim Bob has to be so consumed with him and Michelle being involved. It's not right or fair to the whole concept, cause it just takes from what the show's suppose to truly be about.

I definitely have lost interest in the show. Very disappointed since the parents have been appearing more and more each season. At first it was all about the girls and thier families when TLC pulled them off but it’s boring. Tired of watching births too. Most of them have a KZbin channel so they post thier births way before the season begins so it’s nothing new to watch. Ratings are going down and now TLC have found a new family they reached out to and I’m enjoying them. Last week she gave birth to triplets. They have 14 children now. If you haven’t seen the show give it a try. A lot more interesting than the Duggars. I’m extremely sad that about all the stuff that’s coming out on them. I really loved watching. Started day 1.

Thank goodness for Jeremy and Jinger’s “pretentiousness”. At least they have personality, and thoughts and opinions of their own. The camera loves Jeremy! He’s charismatic, handsome, well spoken, he adores his wife, and has encouraged her to find her own identity, and she has more than risen to the occasion. I love watching them! TLC and mom and dad Duggar have really hung their hats on Ben and Jessa... They’ve bet on the wrong horse! The more cultured her brothers and sisters become, the more they put themselves out there, the less and less interesting Ben and Jessa become. Sometimes I look at Ben and I’m like... Wow... The lights are on, but nobody is home. Jessa could have been with anyone from their massive church, and she got stuck with Lennie from Of Mice and Men. Shurrie Weatherman I don’t know if I would label her personality as “strong”, but I see what you mean. She was the sister that had the hardest time getting along with her older siblings. Jill and Jana were always the ones that had to sacrifice and compromise, because Jessa never would. I think when Jessa was 20 and didn’t know herself, she thought she wanted someone submissive. She probably adored that when she said “Jump!” Ben responded with “How high?” She mistook someone giving her, her way, with very little fight as “love”. Jill has traveled the world, teaching and caring for the poorest of the poor. Helping women safely deliver children when the nearest hospital was a two day journey away, or they simply couldn’t afford it. Jinger has moved to California! Has 1 kid and her second on the way, 3 years apart! What?! She wears shorts above the knees, and sleeveless shirts😱! Jeremy sees her as his equal. He expects her to be more than a baby vending machine. He pushes her to find her own identity, her own thoughts and feelings, to find her own voice, and then actually share it with the world on their podcast. Jana might still be at home, but she doesn’t wait by the windowsill for her man. She can cook, and clean her parents house, and teaches and raises her parents kids for them... Yes, but she can also fly a plane, has a massive garden, raises and takes care of chickens, flips houses, interior decorates, travels, plays multiple instruments, paints, draws, sculpts, can tile, do carpentry, nail art, travel child free, does ministry work, and is an event planner. Why do you think they won’t let her marry? She’s been forced to be Wonder Woman, to appease her parents, and save them money. While Joy hasn’t put herself out there as much as her other siblings, she still left the Duggar’s, and isn’t living in a house Dad gave her. Quite the opposite. They lived in a trailer until Austin could provide them with a proper home. She helps Austin flip houses, and spends tons of time at his parents camp, taking care of the horses and landscaping. The only thing that has changed about Jessa is her waistline. I don’t mean that as a fat joke, it’s a pregnancy joke. She’s a beautiful woman, but that’s not my point. Outside of baby making Jessa and Ben have no idea who they are. They have no clue. Ben likes Christian hip hop, and football....? He describes his style as “Urban.” (Omg, I almost peed my pants when I heard him say that). That’s kind of it, that I know of.... Jessa.... Jessa can cut her sons hair , and curl her own... and rearrange furniture, when not pregnant... I can’t think of much else... The more her sisters grow, the more and more painful Ben and Jessa are to watch. You really see the divide of what sheltering your child too much can do.

Hannah Hannah Jill used to be the favorite. Everyone forgets! Jill was HANDS DOWN Jim Bobs favorite daughter. He hand selected Derrick for Jill. He “gave” them basically a mansion when they first moved out. Remember? And he gave Jessa like a shoe box?! It was SO great!!! You could tell Jessa was SO JELOUS! Jill and Derrick gave it up though, for their missionary work. Had Jill just played the role of submissive daughter, he would have saved that mansion for her, she’d be the golden child, the entire show would circulate around Jill and Derrick. Jim-Bob new Jessa was vain and a brat. He adored Jill. I really commend both of them for sacrificing fame, a big house in Jim Bob’s name, so they can live a life that they chose and created for themselves.

Something is strange to me with Jinger and Jeremy's finances. A while ago, they said they can't afford the house they live in out in L.A. and that a friend lets them stay there. Then Jinger spent $300 on a jacket and Jeremy spent (I'm guessing) a lot on a painting for Jinger. I'm young and still living at home, so maybe I'm not understanding but it seems a little strange to me. Does anyone else have any thoughts? Not trying to bash them or be rude, just curious.

Pasadena is expensive. I think they're living there for free or paying very cheap rent. Renting a house there easily goes for $2500+ per month and I don't think Jeremy makes a lot of money as a minister. Jeremy used to be a professional soccer player. I read somewhere his worth was about $2 million prior to marriage, and then with her money, I read their worth as a couple now is around $3.5 million. You lost me on this one, the snark was thick even on stuff you aren’t sure about. I’d be willing to bet money, that was some sort of sparkling juice that came in the same type of bottles. The froth stayed like it does on sparkling apple cider. Not everyone likes to drink. I’m not religious but I don’t like drinking. I’ll drink sparkling cider and sometimes other juice drinks like that and even at my wedding had those options for myself and those who don’t feel the need or desire to drink. Judging people on having children raise more children is one thing. Judging Jim Bob for not paying the kids and Josh for being a disgusting piece of scum is one thing. Drinking though? It’s not some huge deal. Also, “commissioning” a painting is not pretentious. Back in the day that is something many families did even with cameras and the ability to print pictures. It wasn’t cheap but families would save money to be able to have a portrait like that. Some of the finer arts has been lost to selfies and cell phones. That’s just called enjoying other, more personal, forms of art.

I don't think Jeremy does things only for the camera, like Jim Bob and Michelle! I think he really loves Jinger! Yes he tries to be funny, yeah he likes to be the top guy, and likes attention, and winning! When counting on was on the other night, and Jeremy was throwing a surprise Birthday Party for Jinger, they were showing flash backs to other times Jeremy surprised her, all the way back to when he proposed! They showed one flashback to when he came into her hometown to surprise her! Jinger was out grabbing some Tacos with Jessa, and Jeremy pretended to be her waiter! I couldn't believe how much she changed! Of coarse she was younger, she had thick wavey brownish hair, kind of frizzy, if she had makeup on, I couldn't tell, compared to the professional way she knows how to wear it now! She had on frumpy clothes! Which is fine, if that was her choice, and comfort level! She looked cute in that modest Church going way! That wasn't her choice though, it was Jim Bob and Michelle's wav of making them dress! All the older sister always said, Jinger was the one to love fashion, and always would wear some cute little accessories to dress up her outfit! I think the way Jinger looks now, and the way she dresses, is how she always wanted to dress! Not only does she look beautiful, you can tell she feels comfortable in her skin! Some people comment on how important fashion is to Jeremy, and that he dressed Jinger the way he wanted her to look, and that he changed her! I think she likes fashion every bit as much as Jeremy does, and that she picks what she likes! She bought a $ 300.00 blazer without a whole lot of thought when she went shopping with her sister Jana! But I truly believe he loves Jinger and cares about her! and think she's a good mother and a good wife and that she deserves and gray birthday party you make it sound like he only does it for the camera I think if you saw them playing at a park without cameras around UT he's probably just the same nice guy!

I don’t know why I watched this 🙄 but you’ve obviously never heard of martinelli’s it’s a non alcoholic sparkling drink that looks exactly like champagne BUT ZERO ALCOHOL. In religions who don’t believe in drinking alcohol it’s a big thing for holidays and celebrations. I think it’s ridiculous that you assumed and decided to put this video up for shock value. I’m not a huge Duggar fan they are too extreme and weird for me but using them and spreading lies about them for views is weird to me too ! We don’t agree on almost everything you came away with! I thought this weeks episode was very well done and added lots of love and kindness to Jinger. She lost the baby just weeks before her birthday, so it was a really nice way to show Jinger she is special. As far as the entire family coming out, YOU are the only one that said it was the entire family. Let’s see, John and Abby are 2 weeks away from delivery of Grace. Josiah and Lauren just had their baby maybe 1 or 2 weeks old, and Joe and Kendra’s little Addie is also less than a month old. We do know why not Josh & Anna and why not Derick & Jill. The rest of the adults had to work and the little kids had school. I thought how nice that Ben and Jessa had a sitter for their boys, and could get away with just baby Ivy. I loved the dress up party and the beautiful painting Jeremy gave her as a gift, super special! I also loved the carriage ride Joy and Austin took with John and Abby. Their town looked really festive! And last but not least, it was a sparkling non-alcoholic drink.

I'm pretty sure that they're drinking sparkling apple or white grape juice. The whole drama around Ben's Lasik's surgery cracked me tf up! Like come on already this editing is WAY over board. That "surgery" was about a half hour total... Michelle's look when JB said that about his eye sight getting stronger after the loss of his dollar tree readers is priceless! Her look was like you REALLY sound like the IDIOT that you actually are. I thought the party for Jinger was really sweet and the portrait he had done for her as her gift was truly remarkable.

I am an atheist but was raised christian catholic and all the fuss avoiding alcohol baffles me... in John's gospel, it is described how Jesus turned water into wine, and in Matthew's gospel Jesus says "drink this wine, for this is my blood"... How can you keep reading the bible and miss that????

You sound bitter. I'm sure it cost quit a bit to fly a dozen or more people across the country. Not only that the adults may have had other obligations (work) or they just couldn't get away... again plane fair is not cheap. Jim-Bob is Jim-Bob, "nuff said". You also keep commenting on how the older children raised the younger children... many cultures are that way. I came from a family of 6 children and I am the oldest by 6 and a half years. I helped raised my siblings and consider myself better for it. It's about learning to love unconditionally, learning compassion and just being a part of the family. So what that Ginger and Jeremy celabrate big. She had a rough year and he wanted to make it better for her. Jeremy is used to living away from family, Ginger is not. So he chose to give his wife something extra. It's nobody's business how the finances are run in the family. You talk about other people's lives to make a buck. I accidentally clicked on your channel because of the title which was made to look like it is a real "Counting On" channel. But I will not judge.

I feel so bad for Jinger and Jeremy ... I went through a miscarriage in feb and miscarriages are SO SO SO traumatic and horrible and sad ! Such horrible flashbacks ! I swear it’s like PTSD , I imagine pregnancy after a miscarriage is so so scary and hard 😭 my heart breaks for them it’s so sad .

I thought the same why are they drinking? Even if it wasn’t real alcohol it makes no sense to use the culture of drinking. Do all that to serve cake? Didn’t need all that table decorations for a tiny plate of cake. Her dress was so short. But anyone that respect their in-laws would’ve said this dress is not appropriate for your parent. It was some kind of sparkling cider or something, I promise. I have a fundy family and they be as likely to drink champagne as urine or something, lol. It simply wouldn't occur to them to do it, and if you suggested it they'd be horrified, and they definitely wouldn't do so on camera. However, on New Year's and at special occasions like weddings or baby showers, they'll have some sparkling cider and think it's legit a fancy and appropriate drink for the occasion.

I go to church with a large family who does the buddy system. Two of the kids are in the same Sunday school. We have youth group on Wednesday nights. One of the last times we did it. One of the kids got left behind 😂 it was funny. I go to a small church in a small town so it was funny to us.
