Its the delusion of the parents and family members. Who will get the family “fortune” when the parents die? I doubt the 18 other kids will get anything. I completely disagree with your opinion on Anna being on the show. She is a completely autonomous individual and if she wants to be on the show, she has a right to be. Perhaps JB pays her or allows her to live in the she-shed or whatever in exchange for her playing nice, and if that's what she has to do to put food on the table for her children, more power to her. She is not Josh. Josh did those terrible things and he's no longer on the show. She just chose to stay with him, which is IMHO a bad choice but not a crime. She shouldn't be punished for his bad behaviour. I think you are off the mark judging her. Her options are so limited I wish you could see her like you see Jill... doing the best she can despite the world she lives in and the way she was raised. It's baby steps.

She could have driven over to visit Amy and Amy would have shared with her about writing a book, about a go fund me etc. She didn't even try. One, Amy also has left the show, which she pretty much got kicked off to. That's Jim Bob's doing. Now, here's the thing, with Anna, I can tell you, I think Anna wants things to work things out with Josh, because, the kids. But, Anna should really get wise and, walk away along with those kids, cause, as long as she stays married to Josh, the bigger the stain on her life will grow and she doesn't realize how not only how it' ll continue to effect her life and there kids. Other than, that, I don't have a problem with her and her kids being on the show. JB wants to just put Josh back on the show so, Josh can start paying some rent on the She Shed. But, Josh should not be allowed to be put back on the show, if he ever comes back, I won't be watching no more, I will be done. I have less and less interest in the show since JB and Michelle have been inserting themselves back on the show more. As in , I had it on last night and, I didn't watch a huge chunk of it, that's how, I've been doing it more and more lately. The Jim Bob and Michelle situation sickens me, and how they've done Jill and her little ones. Then, yet, how they, treat Josh like he's some kind of Royal King.

Anna never left. She was featured the whole first season of Counting On. She was on talking about staying with the Duggars while Josh got help and how she was recovering. She slept in the Big Girls room with the older sisters. Theres a scene with her getting Meredith dressed for the day and she talks about how good it is to be home with family during this time. She goes on about how hard it is without him but he betrayed her and she was struggling but praying. Shes been there. Also if you watch older episodes Josh is there in the background/blurred face.

You're correct - I remember an episode of a "girls weekend" where a group went to a cabin somewhere - Anna had infant Meredith with her and I think Jessa had Spurgeon - and Anna talked extensively about Josh' "redemption" - I'm pretty sure that was the first season of Counting On.

It is a sad thing when the heads of some family "disowns" a child just because they are no longer a part of show's line-up, or refuses to no longer bow to unreasonable demands. Jill is the biological child of Jim Bob, and Michelle, but, along with her husband, and kids are not included in any family functions, including this Christmas celebration? This is messed up.

Incorrect. Anna has been part of Counting On since 2015. Every single season. She's certainly not a major player, but she's absolutely been included on Counting On each season. Josh has been included in family events too; he's just not filmed. Do I like Josh being there? Lord NO! I'm only correcting the inaccurate information. By the way, Laura has been included in many, if not most, past seasons also.

So a couple small things. 1) jessa and ben were already married when counting on started and she was like 5 months pregnant with spurgeon. 2) anna has been on counting on from episode one. The first episode was all about Josh's scandals and she was on and talked about it. She isnt heavily featured in the later seasons but at the beginning (first season at least) she was heavily featured with jill and jessa. 3) i also think its possiable that after jill and derrick saw the episode in which jessa had ivy, they didnt like that they showed jill (because according to derrick they left the show) so that's why they asked to not show jill during lauren and Josiahs birth or the kids in the photo. Because they dont want to be on the show. I do wish the duggars would still include jill and derrick in their family and invite them to christmas. Even if they dont want derrick there (I'm assuming it's mostly because of derrick and everything he has been saying) they should have invited them so all the grandkids could be together. Sorry I couldn't help myself but I love you and your content. Keep up the good work.

I'm starting to feel like the outliers on this show are starting to get tired of feeling left out and that's why Anna threw shade on her post yesterday. Anna's kids are like second class citizens compared to Joe's kids, and that has to make Anna feel like crap because she was fundie royalty before the stuff came out about Josh. Now she (and her kids) are nobody. Laura was prominently featured on the show for a long time and now she's in the shadows, how do you think she feels about that? I don't think TLC is the one making those decisions, I think JB is asserting a lot of control, which is why he's on the show more than ever. This whole thing is proof as to why you should never agree to let your family be in a TV show. Could you imagine going to a family function that is not only being filmed, but certain members have to stay out of certain areas because they cannot be filmed (if they even get invited at all)? Or photographs of certain family members have to be blurred out because they cannot be shown? Or certain family members or friends are put in the background so they are "there" but not the focus? It is painfully obvious that the Duggars who are still on the show can no longer differentiate between "TV Duggars" and "real-life Duggars" anymore. I don't blame the Dillards (and the Forsyths to a lesser extent) for dipping. I would not want to be a part of something that is clearly ruining their family, either. I feel like Anna might be afraid to leave, like maybe her family might disown her, or she has gotten threats of some nature from her husband’s camp. I don’t like that she is vilified. I want to see who she is without her husband, first. I think he requires her to put stuff like that on her social media, which is scary. This party is just like a family wedding that Josh attended. He was there, and TLC producers asked him to hold his youngest at the time in front of his face, so you didn't actually see him. I heard they are still including Josh in these events, because his children are getting older now, and would be wondering why he couldn't come. Personally I don’t think that it’s weird that josh is around. I don’t love it- and wouldn’t allow it in my family- but his family forgave him. Anna chose to stay with Josh and continue to have kids with him after knowing what he did. That right there, explains why anyone who has an issue with Josh's actions would have issue with her as well. It's not my decision who does what or who talks to who- I'm just saying in my opinion, I think it's bizarre that Anna stayed with him. Anna also cannot expect people to forgive the way she has. I can understand why the family might not want him OR her around as much. It's mostly sad because of their kids. They are innocent in all of this and should be able to have a relationship with their grandparents, cousins, etc. The whole situation is super awkward no matter how you look at it. Ugh 🙄

I saw Anna on the first episode of Counting On crying about Josh. I wonder if any of the girls who were abused by josh feel uncomfortable 🥵 around him? Or if it’s just some huge elephant in the room. If I was Jill I would be so happy to not have to be around them. I would be so happy that my children don’t have to grow up like everyone else. I’m so proud of Jill for breaking the pattern of craziness and cult like behavior.

I think Anna should be allowed on the show. The girls have had her in their lives for a long time. Anna is innocent of the crap Josh did. It was Michelle that outed Anna, because she wasn’t satisfying Josh. If you know what I mean. Anna has had more babies then any of the girls. She hasn’t done anything wrong. She shouldn’t be punished because she married Josh, before she knew the real him. Jim Bob and Michelle should let the kids have their own show. But then they just might rebel after tasting independence , from the cult. That’s probably what those two are thinking.

Agreed as an insest survivor Josh and family should not be seen on the show. Yes Jim Bob and Michelle really should not be on there too, its suppose to be about the older kids and family. And they should not be in charge of the contracts or money.
