Да так в общем-то всегда и было. Количество важно, но не решающе. Что касается нормальной литературы, то это не та что нравится тебе. Судя по твоему комменту, тебе нравится читать какие-то либерально-диссидентские страшилки, выдаваемые за печальную и суровую "правду". Если же изучать серьёзные, адекватные источники, то можно узнать, что на "невском пятачке" потери СА составили от 50 до 200 тысяч (разброс довольно большой, по разному можно считать - с противоположным берегом или без него), но явно не миллион, а общие боевые потери противоборствующих сторон за всю войну были в соотношении 1 к 1,3 (немцы с союзниками - СССР).

Coming from the UK I can say we do not have 190k+ soldiers at all. If you add all the personal from the navy, airforce and army including the reserve it won't reach 190k and as for combat ready front line troops. That is under 30k with about 50 fully operational MBT and no mobile artillery as our traitious government sent that to Ukraine and the Russians destroyed it.

По-этому, главное -это современная высокоточная артиллерия, РЗСО, ПВО, конечно быстрая, точная разведка, однозначно господство в воздухе, то есть современная и боеспособная авиация, иные современные виды доставки поражающих элементов, в том числе дроны, беспилотники и т.д.. Ну и главное, умение всем этим управлять быстро, точно и разумно. Все виды войск и вооружений должны дополнять друг друга и поддерживать. Не забываем про тыловое обеспечение, это не просто важно, это катастрофически важно☝️
