@@THELIONKING7788 Good and largest are not the same thing at all, every major western power (US, UK, France...) now have a professional army, that mean less people but far more capability and better training, in a modern war the number of soldier don't mean anything. If you take the 2024 rank of this video everyone except US/Russia/India and China would get absolutely destroyed by the UK or France in a full scale war

To be exact, Vietnam did not expel the US. A negotiated peace treaty was signed in Paris leaving both North and South Vietnam. That is when the Americans left (not expeled). 2 years later the North invaded the South against the Paris Peace Treaty.

Portugal and Brasil were togheter as the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brasil and Algarves (1815 -1822). From 1822 to 1889 Brasil was a Empire and had another flag( The Empire of Brasil had almost the same size as the actual Federative Republic of Brasil, the exchange of power didn't change the country)

@@jorgbuhler4521 They didn’t. The fifth largest military in 1945 was Australia, which came behind America, Russia, Britain and Canada. The Chinese were irrelevant because they were in a civil war, and the Europeans were still deficient after their cowardly surrenders in 1940.
