holy moley...You guys are awesome! I am going to share this with my Aunt. She was a professor at Galludet University in DC and is always sharing with me stuff like this. Please please keep chasing your dreams of travel and adventure! LOVE YOU GUYS!

that's awesome that your mom was a professor at Gallaudet! I might visit the campus for the first time next week! :) Thank you so much for your support!! :)- Stacey

she was a professor for Gallaudet? I'm actually going there for college, but I'm starting my senior year next year, so I'm not going any time soon.

I love this so much! Fun story, I remember the pronunciation of Belarus by thinking of my dog Bella. She would bark and howl at a lot of things, so I just have to think of that! “Bella roooooos!”

This is fun. Sign language is so beautiful. I keep trying to teach myself. I guess in any language we all mess up pronunciation of words

i wonder, can we do international deaf hand & movement accents? i notice interesting patterns like similar to how Deaf Blind habituate reinforcing both hand doubled to sign, different localities and groups sorta have their handshapes and body position meanings, (like how many western think mind head, heart left chest. chinese do heart-mind at sternum) very interested
@charleswarner87474 жыл бұрын
i wish you guys show/do country sign >.
@DeafinitelyWanderlust4 жыл бұрын
can you explain more about international deaf hand & movement? do you mean the signs? There are dialects, regional, and accent signs :) Some DeafBlind use Protactile (PT). As for countries, I'll love to! It's a long project though, so that will take some time 🙂

Which sound is the more complicated to pronounce for a deaf person ?

Great question! I noticed that many have trouble with the S, C, CH, and Z sounds because of the silent sounds.

Very cool, when I saw the title, I thought you were going to be guessing people’s native sign languages based on how they signed in ASL, that would be super cool too.

say whaaaat? haha, I thought she would be saying it all right? Or maybe she was pronouncing how Americans would? Like I heard that the correct pronunciation for "pho" (Vietnamese soup) is actually "phA" whereas in USA, they would say "pho"?
@ravenwingva68826 жыл бұрын
Deafinitely Wanderlust Yep! I think you’re absolutely right! The video was entertaining nonetheless. You girls are awesome. :) I’ve been studying ASL and deaf culture for almost 3 years now and I really love your channel!
@00zarzu006 жыл бұрын
yes pho is supposed to be pronounced like fuh not foh/faux and yeah that hearing girl didn’t say right either actually sometimes pronounced better by deaf :) like and no one got papuan new guinea right for example but closest girl in the middle (deafinitely wanderlust) was right it can be pronounced like papa not how it’s spelled papua (also popwa
