Simple Norwegian is a native Norwegian’s creation, intended to teach you Norwegian with some pretty simple and easy to follow lessons. The channel offers resources to learn vocabulary, grammar, and give an idea of what normal daily conversation might be like for Norwegians. A lot of effort is put into these videos, so I genuinely hope you enjoy them and find them useful.

@@carlcarlotti9642 I didn't want to shut her opinion down. I just pointed out that her reasoning was quite problematic. And by mentioning her nationality I only mentioned her nationality to point out that she's from a country that wasn't even harmed or involved in the war as opposed to Jewish people which I gave an example of, so I thought that was quite unreasonable. @@geografisica - I've been to Norway three times, so far. From my conversations with my Norwegian family and their friends, I've learned that Norwegians absolutely do not hate Americans. They like our music, food, quite a few aspects of our culture, etc. But many Norwegians enjoy visiting other countries in Europe and Asia, which they consider safer, less expensive, and more exotic. I'm surprised that Portugal was not mentioned more in the video, as many Norwegians I know visit there frequently, with some owning vacation homes.

@@YouGotUnlucky Don't worry, a lot of Americans are dumbfounded that we let him get elected too. I just wish more people outside the US would start to acknowledge that Trump is not the President anymore and that we did vote him out. Also with that said, I also know that a lot of stereotypical Americans described are usually from parts of the nation that are generally more conservative politically like the southern states(which our country has a history of civil war in 1860-1864 which still resonates today). I like to think we're a lot more open minded than what media gives us credit for. Also the idea that all the countries hating the US appears to be more of a manufactured idea that the left wing media outlets have created too. I'm not ashamed of being from the US. It's my home and I won't desert for any reason.

The one girl not wanting to visit the US "on principle" but wanting to go to another country that blatantly practices xenophobia is hilariously ironic. Be critical of what the media is feeding you, regardless of where you live.
