If we count correctly, Germany has only one national holiday. All other holidays are either state holidays, or (in the case of Peace Day, which only exist in the town of Augsburg), city holidays. Because Germany's constitution attributes cultural affairs to the federal states, each state has its own laws concerning holidays, and they thus differ from state to state.

Tbh games like Politics an War and Nation States get boring quickly as the game turns into a message board/social media where the fun stuff lies within a reserved few within the community where you have to be always active...I think Drew shares that same sentiment. It's not really a game you can just pick up and have a few hours of fun like in say pdx gsg's...idk I guess that's just me???

yup, here in Sri Lanka we have a holiday every month + all the special occasions like new years and Christmas. We actually have 2 new year one on January 1st and the traditional Sinhala and Tamil new year in April where you get a couple of days holiday. Since early 2022 our government got the new habit of randomly making Monday a holiday at least once every two month. So actually we might have more than 25 this year.

You know something really funny? As a kid there was this aquarium near my house that I absolutely ADORED visiting. I was thinking about it, got curious, and looked it up, and it turns out that it’s the 6TH LARGEST AQUARIUM IN THE WORLD. I lived next to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and NEVER REALIZED THAT IT WAS ONE OF THE LARGEST AQUARIUMS IN THE WORLD UNTIL AFTER I MOVED ACROSS THE COUNTRY 😭

In Pakistan Education system there are two shifts for students from 1 to 8 class,Single shift for 9 to 12 class,Also single shift for 11 and 12 are college years. First shift is from 8am to 1pm. 2nd shift is from 1pm to 530pm. Saturday and Sunday are off for all students and, On Friday Timing of first shift is from 8am to 1230pm and 2nd shift is from 2pm to 530pm.

10:38 depends a lot from the school you are in, for example in my school I do at 8 a.m to 2 p. m and I don't go on saturday, some other school do from 8 a.m to 1 p.m and also go on saturday, this for middle school. For elementary it's from 8 a.m to 1 p.m and they do on saturday to 8 a.m to 12 a.m.
