David, thank you so much for the videos you and John did over the years. I actually didn’t ever get into the sound of pedal steel until I heard you with John’s accompaniment. Country Boy by Albert Lee was one of the first real country songs I listened to and truly enjoyed years ago but you guys took it to another level. Thank you for showing me how great pedal steel sounds along with a the wonderful Telecaster. After watching you guys on youtube I can’t even begin to imagine how much you miss John and the music you made together. Please know just how much your and his work are appreciated!

There was a Lot of great "name" players (steel & guitar) in Nashville.... that couldn't "hold a candle" compared to you two, together... or individually!! It was a Very Sad day in the world of Country music, when we lost John... then David, just "up & disappeared" from all his fans on youtube, with no "good-bye" or thanks for all your support, or anything... Sad, ...but, at least we can still enjoy the memories of them, through all their music together... that is still here, on the tube.

Barbara G... You DO know, that John passed away, don't you? In fact it was 7 years ago last Monday (Aug. 22nd).... on Aug. 22, 2015.... died in his sleep. David just "up & disappeared" from KZbin, shortly after John passing.... but is still playing, live venue's... or at least he was in 2019. Hope he didn't take "the shots" and is no longer "here", either.
