A few years ago my wife and I owned and lived in a 2002 Winnebago Journey that was 39.5 feet long with no tag axel. It was a great motorhome but just does not compare with our 2002 Country Coach Magna Interlude 40 foot with tag axel. It's identical to this one on the video but instead of the red accents in the paint it's black. Also the floor plan is slightly different. This Magna is much more solid and handles extremely well! It just has way less body roll on curves and holds it's ground when passing a tractor trailer at interstate speeds. We looked at a Beaver Sapphire before buying this and was very impressed with the wood work but these Country Coach motorhomes have just as nice of wood work in them. What an incredible machine these Magnas are!

Love to see a vid with an expert explaining what to expect (cost of repairs/maintenance, upgrades of interior-TV, WIFI etc) when buying an older (5-10+ years old) high-end complex DPs. Especially orphaned coach brands & engines. Cheers!!

I was in a 40ft 90s Beaver marquis. (no slides) And it's crazy how similar the interior and layout is to it. Almost identical. Even the cabinet designs are spot on...

And it's $900.000.00 + cheaper then a Marathon coach. I do love the Double rear axles on it. I'm use to driving MCI 8, 9, and 102 coaches. As well as a Prevost, and Van Hool coaches.

Great Coach. You can live in this coach with the slide in the in position. Just open in when you have guests. Less you move it, the less chance of breakdown.

Very nice rig. Noticed the cabinetry in the bedroom was relocated to the rear of the coach by the closet. This opened up the front of the bed. Also, do these folks sell furniture on site to install like the fridges? Kelly & Kathy “Away We Go 2.0!” We’ll Catch You Down The Road!

Agree on the slides.....four slides are over rated....have had 1 slide, double, and quad slide coaches.....and the quads and full wall slides are over rated.....and almost unusable when traveling. My favorite production coach is this era Magna...or early 2000s Monaco Signature. The new ones have more Tech....but the build quality and detail in these older coaches can't be beat....and NO DEF.

I would rather have a big dining slide than bedroom. When I'm in the bedroom, I'm sleeping, so who cares? Big table equals great workspace.
@RutroAstro3 жыл бұрын
What was the mileage on the Magna, you said 425 cat correct, so I would guess that it is a six speed, is the tag manual lift or does it lift automatic on the turn

I called to speak with a salesman at this business today. He was incredibly rude, unprofessional and short with me. Not even Camping World gave me this bad of a feeling. I wish I had gotten his name so I could post it here but he didn't even offer it. I knew something was off when he answered the phone with an irritated "Hellloooo!?", not even the business name. Total jerk for the entire minute long phone call. I will never consider using this place.
@RVingwithAndrewSteele3 жыл бұрын
That doesn't sound anything at all like anything I've heard about Premier RV of Oregon. I've heard about these guys for the last 10 years and have never heard anything close to what you're saying. Every time I called, they have a secretary that answers the phone when extremely polite. Maybe you're confusing these folks with the different business?
@bigsavagedaddy59603 жыл бұрын
@@RVingwithAndrewSteele no, I am not confused. The secretary (Sherry, I believe?) was a very nice lady. I even called back to let her know how poor our experience was. I have purchased a handful of RV's throughout the years and talked to many different salesmen at many different businesses. This one experience stands out as exceptionally bad. I just looked at the number I called in my phone history: 541-366-4599. Still think I am confused?
@slewofdamascus3 жыл бұрын
@@bigsavagedaddy5960 without a name to refer to it's completely useless, and I'm not questioning your experience, but make sure to always get a name that way you can call the GM to make an official complaint. Salesmen with that kind of attitude should not be working.
@RVingwithAndrewSteele3 жыл бұрын
There are three sides to every story.
@bigsavagedaddy59603 жыл бұрын
@@RVingwithAndrewSteele why, exactly, would I make it up? I guess you're defensive because they let you make your little videos? I didn't get his name because frankly, I was a little shocked by what an asshole he was. I would definitely handle it differently now. I'm almost certain I heard the receptionist whisper to someone "it was Louie" when I called back to share my experience. Not that you care, but I am definitely unfollowing you. There is no other side to the story. The guy was a total prick from "Hellllooo!??". I said, "Yes sir, are you in sales?" Silence....me "Hello?" Him: "YES!???" Me: "okay. Do you have anything with bunks, by chance?" Him: "No." Silence...he offered no assistance or additional info, just "No" on top of a hateful aggravated tone. After 3 seconds of silence, because I am used to people in sales asking questions or elaborating, I asked my final question. "Well shoot. Do you ever get anything in with bunks?" Him "Not since we opened." Silence again. At that point I simply said "Nevermind" and hung up. Do you consider that professional and helpful? Whomever you were, you don't need to deal with the public. If the business is reputable, I hope they get rid of the guy.
