That is one beautiful coach! Manufactured at a time the RV industry was still producing quality. In today's world -2020 - there's sloppy workmanship, poor QC and manufacturers cutting corners every place possible. Of course it would help if consumers could do without 3 TV's per unit, loads of high tech gagets and just get on with the RV life as it was first intended to be. Outdoors with nature, seeing our great country.

There’s a simple elegance in Foretravel builds. High end workmanship without the Godey (in my opinion) rope lights and mirrors everywhere thats so common in the Prevost conversions.

I like the way they make the shower look residential even so many of the high-end coaches have showers that look like an RV shower

Huge fan of Foretravel! Right up there with Marathon and Newell. Cummins ISM 500 a great engine. The air bladder slide out seals can be a problem sometimes. Make sure they work properly.

Delamination and Bulkhead issues on some Foretravel models. Check the forums for known issues. There are a few (as with any coach). This particular coach appears to have a seam or bubble running vertically down the middle of the passenger side slide. You can see it in the video. Might be an issue, might not and just be the camera angle.

You mentioned the bed folds up to allow access to the rear bath when the slide is in. So, is that an adjustable bed for sleeping also, where you can raise & lower the head & foot of the bed?

Andrew its a very nice looking coach the cabinets look like high end cherry that's a nice touch it felt warm and cozy like a home should feel. I do wish you could have shared how much it was going for the engine and mileage on her other than that it definitely looks like she was well taken care of the only thing I would do right a way is remove the table in the middle of the couch what an eye sore in my opinion. Thanks for sharing

Not real cherry dude. It just something like maple finished to look like a reddish finish. Actually I think they were trying to make it look like mahogany. 😁

It's real cherry, they guy who does the cabinets has been there for 35 years. (he did ours) Not many RV's have the craftsmanship of these cabinets, ya gotta look under the hood and then you'll see the quality. I might be a cabinet snob...LOL , I worked in a custom cabinet shop when I was younger.

I put Foretravel and Newell on the same level and both over Prevost. Foretravel has fantastic customer service. The person who I bought our Monaco Executive from but a Foretravel. If he has internet service and has any issues the Foretravel service can log into his coach and diagnose what his issue may be and can even perform software updates to his coach over the internet. If I ever decide to upgrade it will be into a Foretravel. BTW, what was propped up in the corner by the steering wheel? Front shade maybe? You should look into a Tx. trip to go through a few more. :-)

Do any high end coaches have normal exterior paint jobs? I mean the swirl look was probably cool back in say the 70's along with paisley print shirts and lava lamps or Miami Vice 80's ( who doesn't miss teal and magenta? ) but look kinda silly now. Love the Big Easy bordello mirrored ceilings though...Especially in those million dollar + coaches....very classy.

I like the wood tho some of the doors have turned to mismatched shades. Also not sure if that bed looks comfy.. it does not appear flat. Did you give the price? Did I see 214,000 in the intro?

We've had our older Foretravel for a few years now. We were introduced to them in Indiana in 2017, met some folks who explained the Foretravel story, and gave us a walk around etc. They were retired factory workers and knew their stuff. I knew I liked this RV, but put it in the back of our heads as we were in an Airstream at the time, we sold that, purchased a Landmark 5th, but it did not feel like US? Next Step, we're on the search for a Coach, after speaking with many experienced coach owners we narrowed it down to older models from Country Coach, Newell, Foretravel, Prevost for the most part. We had a few "Must Haves" as long as the layout worked. Serviceable engine (no one does it better), NO DEF, Side-mounted Radiators, Active Air Suspension, and if possible the Allison Transmission Retarder! We felt if we had a good foundation on a higher-end coach, we could upgrade the interior as needed and add some modern tech as well. After 2 years now we still feel the same. Because of the suspension, these coaches ride FLAT, not the swaying you feel in other coaches. Go test drive and see for yourself. The Foreforum is filled with passionate knowledgeable owners, and answers to questions come quickly. The forum was actually a big part of our decision. We've been to the Factory, done the tour, it's just a small group of people who build about 30 per year, (not 30 per week in other factories) nice folks too.

I saw that country coach w/fold down porch wall greatest add if parking it model like a double porch toy hauler 5th wheel. Weight not a problem if parking it mostly. Hving sldes on a class b+ is a game changer but not a parking it model, but the best feature of all is rear garage, & I found 1 they don't make any more w/both triple slide & rear garage that rate a C not b+ status. Might be still mobile but for a week or two u r fine camping/parking real RVing.

@@RVingwithAndrewSteele Their are a lot of folks operating illegally until they get pulled over by DOT, that's why I had to get rid of my extra large 5th wheel because the DOT Trooper gave me a break and gave me a warning. Because I didn't want to upgrade my license again..

80: milage paint yr cking every box buy sight unseen fairly certain can't miss buy cheap housing mobile hosing in a storm slice rooms not on a mobile home need I go on GOd owned back stoping rental so u know u hve a home in good shape or we wil put u in another 1 better cond. Ideally u won't be renting no where ville but some place u want to vaca or worse case live.

40-42ft coach can hve my rise lower gator 6by6 I don't own yet Mule work lift Dino mule waiting on 6by6 w/a bed or seating. If pad can handle 45-46ft most can then my gator Mule lift on back will fit as well. I walked from front door to end of r block 3-4house down 12 times few days ago, but that is rare case, so walking not real poss as of 4 months or so, & any dist not poss no chance w/out my gator /mule. So I am srting to see what I will need, either class B+ drive in or front door or Class A real tow 20-25k or mose likely class super C even 40k back hoe tow or stacker poss. Or u go lite small class C or pussy superc lite 12k tow, buying what ever u see on side of road as I go on the spot. My get fixed 20s heath but if not will make do class A fall back anti bad just devil enslaved here problem.

If they were good tent 5yrs will move it drive it to new lot if u move u don't hve to move. We will provide a stacker trailer or a nice storage shed, to pu stuff & move stuff again better if they r just vaca not renting 6month my world. Borrowing, an SUV or truck poss if u rented 3months, +on sight camping stuff pool billards horse shoes & such. I will try to hve repair ppl & update ppl working near city by, or state by worst case. Rent to own poss, after 5 yrs cheaper utilities if I can work it out many cable means cheaper rate. Genius is storm beach location truely mobile never lose power bc u hve own generator worked this thing out & unexpected falls on Me.
