You mentioned that you don’t think the slow cooker function on the instant pot works as well as your slow cooker… you’re correct. I have noticed the same thing. Also America’s Test Kitchen found that the slow cooker function isn’t great as well. That’s why I keep my crockpot on hand.

Our farm is a couple hundred acres... which probably sounds large to you but it's relatively small compared to many farms in MO!
