For the crumble on you're muffins I've always used the recipe of one cup flour, one cup of sugar, and one stick of cold butter. Mix until crumbly. You could also do 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 stick of cold butter. I use this recipe for everything. My sweet tater casserole I add chopped pecans and it makes the best topping. Also my pumpkin muffins get this crumble topping and I promise it's delicious.

That is super helpful, thank you so much for sharing! And now that you say that I need to go back and look at what I put on top of my sweet potato casserole, because it is very similar to what you suggested! Duh 🤦♀️😆 thank you so much for watching! Hope to see you back here again soon! ❤️

Don’t you just love those crispy bits on the sourdough crust? Your bread looked sooooo good. One time I baked a loaf of sourdough bread and I sat down and ate the whole crust in one sitting. I trimmed that loaf of bread down, put some butter on that puppy and ate every bit of that crust. It was so magical. 😂

2-25-24 5:37 A.M. E.S.T. I'm a first time visitor to your channel, and I just watched your video while cozy in bed on this cold morning. All of your recipes looked good (meatloaf and potatoes! 😋), but soup is always a favorite for me. A warm bowl of soup is such a comfort food, and although I enjoy it any season of the year, it is especially comforting on a cold winter's day. Your suggestion about adding depth of flavor to the soup by using sun dried tomato paste is a really good tip. Thank you for sharing that, and for inviting us to be part of your daily journey. I love the homey, cozy vibe of your video and look forward to watching some more of them. This is the kind of wholesome, family friendly content I like to support. NEW SUBSCRIBER! 🙂👍. God be with you.🤗

I would absolutely love it if you would give a tutorial on the whole process for making sour dough starter , making bread and feeding the starter and using the discard. I’m totally intimidated by the whole process but would love to learn. Also a quick lesson on how to use the whirligig popcorn popper as I just gifted one for my niece and have no idea how to use it 😂

Your video popped up in my feed. A note on your blueberry muffins: your batter was too thin to hold the weight of the blueberries. You will need to adjust your measurements so the batter is more like a quick bread. Hope that helps.

I just found your channel and I love how peaceful your videos are. I just let them keep playing for a while as I drank my morning coffee! On one video, your husband and you assembled a beautiful antique cupboard. It was awesome! Your kitchen is so cozy and perfect. Love it all! My mom's recipe for streusel is 1 cup flour to a half cup each of butter and sugar. I use brown sugar, or granulated white sugar, both work well. Can even add nuts! Sending blessings from Minnesota!

Hello again. Thanks for all the yummy recipes. I will take a look at your blog, being a newer sub. May I ask do chickens like snow or do they get cold, how do you take care of them in the cold. May I ask do you work outside the home? Here for all the things you will share. Enjoy your weekend. STTB*Shared To The Burgh*Pittsburgh PA
@rustichoney10 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing! I’m currently working on updating my blog so please excuse any issues while visiting 😅. I don’t think the chickens like the snow although this past snow was warmer so they didn’t seem to mind it. Typically they all gather in their home and roost together to stay warm during super cold spells, they amaze me… as do all the farm animals! They’re built for the changing seasons for sure! I work from home mostly but sometimes my business takes me out of the home. I have a retail business so sometimes I do seasonal vendor markets. I also have a retail location so I have to be there occasionally to reset the shop and prepare for events or attend photoshoots. My favorite work is at home but I also enjoy the flexibility and opportunity to mingle outside of the home for work. I am very blessed to mostly make my own schedule (which is priceless now that my kids are school age and have a lot of activities!) Thank you again for visiting! Love hearing from you!

I honestly think you had too much flour! My crumbles have no extra flour on them. I use room temp butter and it all comes together as a wet sand!
@rustichoney10 ай бұрын
That is good to know… the recipe I have had success with before only has a tablespoon of flour in the crumble and it turns out really good… but this time I think I had too much butter and the batter was too wet. 🤔 Thank you so much for sharing with me! Cannot wait to perfect these! 🤤 Hope to see you again soon!
