I play blues/rock/fusion and I use this technique a lot. Sounds great with gain. That guitar sounds great! Very much Fender sounds. Thank you, Tomo! Great lesson for all guitarists!

Your bending intonation in combination with your clean technique is inspiring! I am actually led to recall not a country song but instead Edwards' & Rodgers' song Real People in listening closely to you here.

One way country differs from blues is that sometimes the bend is cut short, eg bend is a staccato eighth note instead of a quarter note and then “resume” with the release of the bend back to the original note. Or even start at the top of the bend without bending up at all (the bend up is silent). On a tele through a Vox! Thank you for this awesome video!

I either use a pick or just my fingers. Hybrid picking still a struggle....as is bending a whole step or more. Practice, practice, practice....it's how you get to Carnegie Hall. ☺ Question: isn't it harder to intonate a 3 saddle bridge than a 6 saddle since 2 strings share the same saddle ?
@TomoFujitaMusic6 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing! You can practice! Practice only bending part slowly. Not at all!

@@Nobox-eg7qu When you don't get it, then simply you need some foundation before this one. For example mastering triads & intervals NO shapes! No visually understanding...
