In this show there are 9 singers who all perform and judge each other along with a guest star each week, this was Diana's first competition as an adult. After this rendition of Tommee Proffitt's dark version of can't help falling in love in round one the competition was basically over and it became a very fun show which she won of course. Probably the most decorated singer in History, you can literally wallpaper a room with her awards, local, national and international, she'd have won Eurovision if they hadn't childishly banned Russia. The last time a singer of her caliber and versatility was around it was Linda Ronstadt and I'd give the nod to Diana as the better of the two.

Yes this is the "dark version" of the song. You have discovered a very special artist here. I have always had an eclectic taste in music ranging from classical to rock to country you name it. Some of my favorites have included Meryl Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Boston, Eagles, CCR, Heart, Sound Garden, The Police, etc. - Eclectic. I love classical strings and orchestras. Since I first heard Diana she has become a separate category for me and easily my all time favorite vocalist. She is phenomenal. You should check out her version of "Wicked Game" next. DEE ANNA is a Russian singer and is just 18 here. This was her opening performance on the Russian TV show ShowMaskGoOn where the nine participants judge each other's performances. All except Diana, who was by far the youngest, were seasoned professional singers, and the man who stood up at the end is a world famous opera singer married to an even more world famous opera singer. Diana ultimately won the competition. I would like to make two simple suggestions the first one is do just a small background research on her and you will discover who she is and how she became to be who she is today it is a very inspirational story and will most definitely tug on your heartstrings. And the second one would be to go back to her younger years when she was 14 on a talent show she did a performance of a Russian folklore song call the. Rechenka. It has become legendary and iconic because at 14 years old she use techniques that are extraordinary once you get through that she does a cover of Chris isaak's. Wicked games also a cover of rag'n'bone man Human. Every one of these songs are amazing and every performance that she does is shocking in its own unique way if you make it through those you will then understand she is now 21 and has done many many many many many songs and we hope to see more from you

You have just listened to a true contralto with possibly multi-tonal qualities.. “Diana Ankudinova, A Russian National Treasure” (My opinion), I have been following her for a while. She is another very interesting story that you will discover. Wait until you hear “Wicked Games”, “Take On Me”, "Human" or "Rechenka" Even though it is in Russian you still feel the emotion behind it. I've heard her sing in Russian, English, French, German, Arabic and Spanish so far. No matter what language it is beautiful.

I didn’t ask for, nor do I want, reactions to her to end; I just merely said that I personally do not care for her singing. If others like her, great! Enjoy to your heart’s content, but do please explain to me how my disliking her music dampens your enjoyment of it. I have never disliked someone I like less just because someone else doesn’t enjoy them, too. In fact, that makes me like them even more. Artists that are super popular, especially mainstream artists, I tend to shy away from. I prefer the artists who fly under the radar. And for the record, I don’t dislike her as a person; I simply don’t like her music.

@@atwowheelguy I tried this one because I really like the song by Elvis, and also by Corey Hart, so I was really hoping that she finally would have a song that I like by her. Also, I tried this one because I like this reactor. I’ve listened to hundreds of reactions over the last four years and fallen in love with plenty of new artists and seen plenty of reactors make me love old favorites even more than ever. I’ll keep trying this artist, but so far, she hasn’t been able to draw me in. That doesn’t mean that I hate her as a person; it just means that I don’t like her music, at least not yet. It always amuses me when people act like other people are horrible people just because they don’t like the same things. By all means, if you like her, that’s great! I’m sure there are plenty of artists I love that you would hate, and that’s perfectly normal and acceptable. We don’t all have to like the same things. I’m sure Diana is a lovely person, and I don’t think badly of her as a person; I just don’t like her versions of the songs that I have heard by her so far.
