I have a couple of questions? What can you do not to make them as tender? Also, during that eight hours of cooking, did you peak at the meat while it was cooking?

You can cook them at a shorter time. Do you mind me asking why you don’t want your meat tender? I need to go back and look at the video because I believe I may have put them in then went to church and in that case I didn’t peek

Yes you still need to clean the crockpot. The bag just means you don't have to scrub baked on food
