😳😯 Woah! That barrel is crazy-ness! Wow Boom! I can't even believe that! I wonder if Savage will fix that? That is the craziest thing I think I have seen in a good long while. But thank you very much for doing the target! Very cool video Boom! Now you got to get out and ace it with the Savage or Ruger!!! 😇😁 Now I am wondering if I made some of it too small for Budget. I haven't been able to shoot it yet 😭 my weather has been insane! 40-50mph winds and pouring rain 😰 Snow tomorrow, which doesn't bother me as long as there is no wind with it! Planning a lot of stuff tomorrow, we will see.
@FukuYTmark618 күн бұрын
@CountryRimfire Already fixed. The screw was loose. I think the size is fine as long as we can use any ammo. I was debating which gun to grab. I thought the Hatsan Escort or BSA Supersport 5 would be under $700. But it might be too easy with those. They shoot pretty good.

@@FukuYTmark6 Try it Boom! I would love to see and get your feedback! This being my first official program made target, I need all the feedback I can get. I would like to continue making stuff for budget shooters. The precision market is well covered you know? I don't want to step on any toes. But would love to do stuff for the budget guys/gals!

64 has a metal bracket and abolt to lock the barrel to the receiver, you have to take it apart in order to tight it. Happy new year

Instead of one of those harmonic balancer things do you think a 3in radiator hose clamp tightened to 32in lbs would help 😂. Or steal a 10lb weight off a set of barbells & slide it down the barrel. There are only 500 people checking their barrels right now😂. 👍🙏🎯
@FukuYTmark618 күн бұрын
@billdye3530 Already fixed just a loose screw. Hopefully it shoots better now. It still may need a barbell weight lol.

just tap a small nail into the gap where the barrel meets the receiver .. that'll tighten 'er right up and you'll be good to go .. no charge .. just tryin' to give back to the community .. thanks for sharing

If that rifle is assembled anything like the 64F, the barrel is just pressed in and held in place by a bracket. Maybe the screw on the bracket has come loose

Exactly. "Not what you paid for it". What they are selling for: A big difference. Some guys shooting Remington 541 Target models in the budget rifle challenges is funny as hell. Just sayin. I didn't pay as much for my beautiful Winchester model 52 sporter either, but it definitely doesn't make the cut for these "budget" rifle challenges. Nor does my new CZ457 American. Neither does a Tikka T1x, or my 10/22. The reason I shoot my single shot Savage. I'll be shooting this one soon. CountryRimfire said "ANY" ammo is allowed. Hell yes!! boomer, I'd fix that loose barrel. I've had the Savage model 64 in stock form, and it was a tack driving sob!!!! Good rifles, really for what they are and what they cost. Valiant effort. Some of those balloons clustered in tight remind me of the easter egg challenge we shot. Ol Mike is not going to like this one!!!! ha ha.. You may need to send your rifle back buddy!!! Savage generally has stellar customer service. Good luck with it!!!
