Ali, I love this take on a gift guide. Thoughtful gifts are far more well received and I am so happy you are bringing attention to gifting in a meaningful way; oftentimes less is more, but always quality over quantity. Throughout the year I purposefully listen to subjects my husband discusses, hobbies, or items he needs and use those as jumping-off points for gift giving. He's always happy and surprised by the gifts he receives which is what makes gift giving successful to me. I never understood people who give gifts that they enjoy but don't consider whether or not the recipient will. Well done! PS Um DB5! How neat!!

My mother was such a thoughtful gift giver. I recall Holidays and Birthdays where I cried from joy. I've seemingly inherited this trait. I love to watch my children and loved ones open gifts that I know are more thoughtful/sentimental. While I miss her presence all year round, this season is considerably challenging.

I have always fantasized about being able to fly. I have dreams where I fly. The opening sequence flying up with the crows was amazing, stunning and beautiful. The walk was so lovely I wish it would have lasted longer. That would be a stunning video, showing to those of us who haven't seen the English countryside. What an eye you have.

I truly enjoyed your “gift giving” advice and interpretation. My husband and I do not have children (well, spoiled animal kids) but we are blessed to have 6 Great Nieces and Nephews, ages 2 to 13 (our littles). Because we are all so blessed in the way of tangible items we do a little something different for gifting at Christmas! We get them each something small that they can unwrap on Christmas Day and then we plan a big family trip for the coming Summer and pay for the VRBO home and food. My fondest memories growing up were spending Summers with family at my Grandparents cabin on a lake in Minnesota. So we will either head to the beach this Summer, or a river trip. Toys will be forgotten.....but the memories made as a family are the ones those littles will dearly remember.

The opening scenes were amazing. As you were talking about gifting, the use of side angles was most impressive and different for your vlogs. It added another dimension along with a beautiful backdrop. The DB5 Goldfinger edition was epic. I would wrap this up by saying your vlogs are the standard by which all others are judged.

For shoe issue and rubbing heels, I use Bandaid tough strips. I used to teach dance and wore them for 24 hours. They come off better in when wet. I do not get blisters or experience any heel rubbing. Hope this helps.

Your talk about gift giving should be common sense, but it’s such a necessary conversation (because common sense often leaves us all during the holiday season lol!). Like you kinda said, there are a lot of folks pushing product with their gift guides, which is nice, but sometimes people need a reminder to not be blinded by gifting to others based on what their favorite influencer recommends, but to REALLY consider the individual.
