This looks more like the videos of the Texas two step. It’s nothing like the plain two step I’ve been doing for decades....as well as my dancing partners.

Why is it they never explain the beat count? You have downbeats and upbeats! You counted 1 2 3 5... You need to make it a point of what beats those are! Without the explanation people are offbeat or out of Step! Two step is a lead and follow dance... no explanation of framework... another lame dance instructor!

This dance doesn't make sense to me... It's 6 beats in a genre that seems to be predominantly 4/4 time?! I thought the two step was left left right (quick quick slow, instead of quick quick slow slow) for 4 beats instead of 6 which seems to make more sense. But all the videos I see are for this version of the 2-step.

Please take a dance lesson, then it'll make perfect sense! (Take it from a dance teacher, this is a fabulous demonstration).
