There was a mistake in the video. Bulgaria didnt only want north macedonia (which wasnt a country back then) Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece all wanted it. It was a part of the Ottoman Empire. Greece got the soutern and centre parts, bulgaria the eastern ones and Serbia the northern. The northern part of macedonia disbanded from yugoslavia in 1991. Thats when that flag was first used.
