Because although Oliver said he wouldn't call out an artist, he actually did. In his video talking about this situation, there was a photo of the lineup at said concert showing Parker on after himself. Hence called him out. Either way, who cares. Enjoy the shows and support artist.

Well you can imagine it getting mixed up through the grapevine. First off, Oliver said "I think" it was at this one festival where the band after me played. Oliver may remember a specific band, but is admittedly unsure of where he opened for them. Once he makes the quote, it's possible that Parker only hears "hey man, did you hear? Oliver Anthony accused you of using backing tracks..." And from there it just gets bigger, and we start speculating. But there's basically not enough info to tell what happened.

I saw the McCollum vid. I also produce music for over 40 years and have seen the trends. Here you go: nothing wrong with ANY of it. Fans deserve the best performance they pay for and if it means pitch-perfect vox and awesome backing tracks and you can afford to bring it to them, then I say well done. You're servicing your audience and they deserve the best you can give them. But, if the boy is saying it didn't happen is questionable. Hey, Park...ain't nothing wrong with it, boy. Just take a moment and think about what you're doing. You only got one shot at this.

I definitely believe Oliver for a few reasons: 1. He never actually mentioned Parker or anyone by name, and yet Parker got super defensive and had to make a video to call him out. 2. He had no reason whatsoever to make any of that up. 3. Listen to any Parker McCollum song. He very obviously uses auto tune. You can hear that slight electronic/synthesized hint that you hear in every pop song. 4. Look at the video that Parker made. It screams try-hard. Riding on a horse with his fancy tailor-made cowboy hat. Meanwhile Oliver does interviews while driving in his car and wearing a t-shirt.

It is something that is definitely used today and was made big by pop and hip hop artist back when it started was a long time ago the first to be completely outed because nothing they did was real at all they weren't even the actual people singing but made it believable for a few years until their equipment stopped working properly in the middle of their music. Which for those that were to young or don't know was Milli Vanilli and sense have had many artist have the same issue on stage with some before main stream media was a source for truth to be told without big corporations able to control what was told through media outlets at the time. You had to read about the things on magazines and TV shows that made their money by leaking out controversy and many of them would not report the things of they were paid enough but their were always some that didn't get paid and leaked it out but usually they were the same media outlets that would also print many conspiracy theories with some things being true and some just crazy rants. Once people started recording things live and losing them whether on the internet or publications that would print it or leak the live feeds it have those outlets immediate status and called out many big publications for hiding it. Then main stream media was bought up by a small group and even billionaires that could afford to purchase the majority of main stream and local news and print outlets so they could control things that would damage their profits or go against their political agendas and they used propaganda and lies to push false narratives to the masses. The biggest to date has been legacy owned by soro which after the political lies and which hint they were responsible for sense 2014 they have now lost the majority of their listeners do to the truth being told through internet with facts and damming evidence against them. Sense they couldn't control this past election again so to their reporters being called liars and false media they stated they would be firing their staff and hiring all new people to get their integrity back but instead only fired their worst reporters that had no followers and they were losing money on and those that still had half their followers they kept and tried to continue to do their same propaganda they were always called out for which has not in any way helped them but made even more people leave them and they continue to lose more people every quarter unless you hear them tell it but the numbers don't lie and at this point have to be hemorrhaging money but continue to not care and I heirs are going to wait until these stations have zero value and can be purchased for nothing or until its costing them hundreds of millions of dollars every year and they just let the stations crash and burn which will make it easier for those wanting the truth to come out that much easier because there will not be competition by the liars of the elite ruling class and just rich people that back the freedom of speech which holds corporations and rich feet to the fire when they are caught.
